In the main thread, Mr. Strange mentioned that they need a non-Godzilla specific title for the overall game/platform. That said, I still think it would be fun if the title for the overall game had a Godzilla-ish flair to it. I really love "Giant Monsters All-Out Attack" as a title, but considering that's part of the title for GMK, it doesn't work for the complete game. I think something in that vein would be perfect though. The full Japanese titles for Showa Godzilla movies are similarly fun and evocative: "Earth Destruction Directive" (from Godzilla vs Gigan), "Three Giant Monsters: Earth's Greatest Battle" (from Ghidrah), "Great Monster War" (from Monster Zero). Stuff like that. Sadly, "War of the Monsters" seems a bit overdone at this point, being the name of a Gamera movie AND a PS2 game.

I'm just wondering, who will be designing the Intro Cinematic? Will someone or a few people who donated money be story boarding it or will the team do it on their own?

Broad concepts about the story, intro, and everything else will be done in group discussion - but Chris will be directing the film, and so he'll have the final responsibility for making it awesome.

Unfortunately, I don't believe Kickstarter would accept that. We could arrange a direct-payment option, but I would really prefer to avoid that - nothing gets you audited faster than the suggestion that you have undocumented investment money!

Let's say you set aside $100 today, and another $100 every 3 weeks. That should get you really close to $500 by the end of the Kickstarter round, and you should be gold.

Say I donate $50. A month later, I donate $50 on a separate transaction. Could that be tracked to show that I, as an individual, have now donated $100?

Every donation comes in tagged with a name, so yes it would probably be possible to do this. However, both donations would have to take place during the 30 day Kickstarter campaign. And - donations are not actually charged until the end of the campaign... so there really isn't any point to doing something like this.

It is absolutely possible to change the amount of your donation. If you donate $50 and then later on want to change the amount to $100 that is absolutely possible.

I have a question. In story mode, will there be bosses that are unplayable? Like having the Super-X3 be a boss in the first level, or having Kaizer Ghidorah be a boss towards the final level? Or will the bosses be some of the playable kaiju?

In general, making a boss is pretty much the same amount of work as making a playable character. My preference is to make everything a playable character, to maximize value.

Boss fights, if they are included, could be something like the 3-on-1 Ghidorah fight in Godzilla: Unleashed, where you and 2 allies fight a super-sized Ghidorah who has huge bonuses. That was a pretty epic fight.

Makes sense, I suppose. I hope we get the kind of fight like we did in Godzilla: Unleashed. That boss battle should've been the final level, though in all honesty.
