^That, or someone completely out of left feild that only Pinkie Reasoning could catch.

I dunno who's gonna be more fun, Pinkie or Twilight. Unexpected genius or adorkableness? Hm...

If the previous episode is any indication, it could be Celestia.

I'm looking forward to seeing another griffin in the ponyverse.

New episode is good! I liked it. Not certainly the best, but it's humorous nonetheless. :)

Not bad at all, certainly a big step up from last week. I had very low expectations for this one, and was sure the writer would go the obvious route and have Pinkie herself as the culprit. But that obviously was not the case, so hats off to Amy Keating Rogers for keeping me guessing.

Pros:

- Gustav. A moustache-twirling French griffon would be great enough, but the silent movie bit catapulted him into awesome territory.

- Pony Joe! I never thought we'd see him again. The James Bond thing was hilarious, there's no way we won't get a few dozen fanfics out of it. Also, Donutopia is Best Dessert of the series. Period.

- So Fluttershy has tail extensions, and now Rarity wears fake eyelashes. Is anything about these ponies actually real? Soon it'll probably turn out that Scootaloo really is a chicken...

- Celestia and the cake. So the CMCs definitely got that right, at least.

- Twilight is Best Detective.

Cons: N/A.

So an enjoyable episode overall. Easily my favorite of this season's Pinkie eps. 4/5 and Upper-Mid Tier. And now, we enter the final week of the season. It's a little depressing, but I expect to see another creativity explosion from the fandom over the summer. There's certainly a lot of good fanfic material that hasn't been used yet.

Did Gustav remind anyone else of the TF2 Spy? Or is it just me? :)

Very fun new episode. Was awesome we got to see Pony Joe again, AND another griffon. A French, mustached griffon that stars as a silent film villain at that.

With all the recent use of donkeys/mules and the past uses of buffaloes and zebra, I'm hoping that new kinds of hoofed animals are introduced next season. Just think about everything they could use- deer, caribou, maybe even giraffes... could produce some very interesting episodes and characters.

^ Agreed. I'd also like to see a little more explanation on cattle and sheep. They're obviously sentient, and at least some of them have an income, yet they seem to live like normal livestock and need the ponies to feed and take care of them. Kind of... odd, I guess.

Hayes. Your avatar. It's so awesome. Just like Lyra.

Anyways, yeah I do wish we could see more hoofed animals in this series, perhaps even other kinds of animals, like big cats or wolves or probably sone kind of reptile related to dragons. Obviously artiodactyls and ungulates aren't the only sentient animals aside from dragons in the series.

As for the livestock, I'm guessing that they've been breed so that they can't live without the ponies' care, but I'm not 100% sure

Cows seem to be at least semi-independent. I mean, one was buying cookies from Sugarcube Corner, plus I don't thick we've ever seen them actually under pony care. With pigs and sheep? I dunno. Maybe they're only semi-sentient. Or just really lazy.

Saw the new episode. Pretty good. I too thought Pinkie was the culprit.

Kind of random, but would anyone else besides me like to see a Jersey Devil-esque creature in the series?

I've actually been thinking of an episode about that. It would be epic if they revealed the Jersey Devil was born human, but mutated into the beast he is now. An MLP Jersey Devil would be the closest thing to an MLP Godzilla.

That's actually how the legend goes.

And if they do do it, I hope it looks like this:

And not this:

Yeah, have him be beastial, and unhorse-like enough to make him badass. Here's how i would imagine the JD to be like if he was in MLP:

1. He would be human. That would be epic.

2. He would share part of Toho Kong's roars. Got the idea from the Freak Encounters episode of the beast.

3. He would breathe fire, and wield shadow-based attacks and black magic.

4. He would stand around 8 feet tall, or as tall as Discord.

5. He would have a saurian-shaped head, and have pony hooves and therozinosaurus claws, or spino claws.

6. He would talk in a deep, Russian accent. That would make him badass.

7. He would be scary enough to frighten the younger viewers, but not enough to give them nightmares.

and his origin would be the old tale of the 13th child being cursed by the Devil and transforming upon birth. Though Hasbro would change it to, say, have him be transformed by the kind of power that may have created Nightmare Moon.
