ALL of his comedies are the same.

Sex Jokes, racial slurs, sex jokes, physical humor, sex jokes...

Obscure pop culture references, running gags that were never funny in the first place...

Im going to see this. It's obviously a dirty version of Paul.

It's also nice to see Mark Wahlberg having fun.

I think what he means is, that it's Seth Mcfarlane, do you really expect something better from him?

After the first three seasons of Family Guy, yeah I do expect something better from him.

I'm wondering why Mark Wahlburg would lower himself to a McFarlane comedy.

Because he wanted to have a good time, obviously. Most of his films are serious - and he's a shitty serious action, or action - and he's a piece of wood. Planks of wood have little 'action'.

This doesn't look like a good time.

The Other Guys was a good time.

Mostly, he is. So is Donnie Wahlberg, Matt Damon & Bet Affleck. Theyre all interchangeable.

The ONLY other Mark Wahlberg movie is remotely 'good' is Max Payne.

And I dont consider The Departed a Wahlberg film since he's only a supporting actor. And The Other Guys made me want to snap my own spine and eat my own ass.

He was the same plank of wood in that as he was in Planet of the Apes (2001). Everyone else in that movie out-shined him.

...Boogie Nights, The Fighter and The Departed had great performances from Mark Wahlberg. He fits with the characters that were given to him. That's really all you can ever ask for from actors.

Im sorry, for someone who claims some sorta expertise or critical taste in film GxG, you should recognize Wahlberg as a method actor. He's the same in every movie he's in. Like David Caruso & George Clooney. But while Caruso and Clooney are hamfisted when portraying real deep painful anguish-y emotions, Wahlberg is a piece of wood trying to act like a 12 year old boy reading an adult script..

He's the same in every movie he's in.

I never said he wasn't the same in every movie. That doesn't mean he can't give a good performance, since he obviously has done some good acting in films like Boogie Nights and The Fighter.

He uses his naivety to his advantage in those films, because those characters are very childish and inexperienced. His style of acting fits for the character he was given. That's why he was able to give a good performance in those films.

Mama always said, "Good acting is as good acting does."

Bradd Pitt rocks in 12 Monkeys, and sucked a long hard one in Troy. In one film, he's a good actor. In another film, he's not.

I get them. In fact it's the only pat of Seth McFarlane's humor I do enjoy. I haven't watched Family Guy or any of his other shows since FG returned (save the Star Wars Trilogy)

No I wont be seeing this film. Also I shudder to think what he's doing with the Flinstones return next year.

The movie was crap -Wahlberg butchered the song from Transformers:The Movie.
There has never been a "Scientifically Accurate" Dinosaur portrayed on any Television Show, Movie, or Documentary. Only what the human imagination can conceive, and I'm ok with that.
