Leader (Male)
Rebel/Cool Guy (Male)
Strong Guy (Male)
Kid Genius (Male)
Token Girl.
and more recently the "6th" member usually an evil or rogue hero turned good (Male)

Yeah if anything Power Rangers is keeping this more alive than Sentai is.

How many Sentai have you seen?
Because none of the ones I've seen follow that pattern
Not
Sun Vulcan
Dekaranger
Shinkenger
or
Gokaiger

Now that DOES sound like what I've heard Dairanger is like, but the 6th member usually isn't from a villian organization.
Also the 6th member usually isn't a villian at first, though it is typical for him to come in and annoy the unholy hell out of the team.

Well, the "rebel" character does bring to mind the black ranger from Jetman. And the sixth member does start as a villain in Zyuranger.

Yeah, but it's branched out a lot since the 90's

USUALLY he just comes in to aid, Go-on Wings just started out showing the Go-Ongers how it's done
ShinkenGold, announced he was coming then does ShinkenRed's dirty work for him
DekaBreak, just kinda gets assigned to the DekaRangers
Time Fire? Well he was a jerk, but mostly because he worked for another organization
GokaiSilver, campy Sentai fan who dreamed of being a hero. He begs for a spot on the Gokaigers, literally begs
GoseiKnight he just wanted to save the Earth not humans, so he was at odds with the Goseigers for a short while

Also Black Condor wasn't a 6th member, he was actually there the whole time. He was however, a magnificent bastard. But Jetman is based on Gatchaman anyways. So Black Condor acts like Joe the Condor to a strong degree.

They all follow the same basic formula of 4 males and 1 female on the team. Since Saban decided to try to make it more even (3 to 2) There would have to be 1 character that obviously didn't match up. The yellow would obviously mean a less feminite female, but I wouldn't take it anything beyond that. Japan does the same. Transformers "Beast Wars" had too many female characters for them, so they made at least 1 "Airazor" into a male to make it more marketable to Japanese kids target audiance.

The basic Sentai team is:

Leader (Male)
Rebel/Cool Guy (Male)
Strong Guy (Male)
Kid Genius (Male)
Token Girl.

Not trying to be chauvinistic, thats just the ways its always been as far as I know. But again I think the last Super Sentai I saw was at least 10 years ago. Saban's influence may have changed the way things are done in Japan.

There's usually two females and 3 males.

Not always, many of the earlier ones had 4 males 1 female.
Though it varied from team to team, Sun Vulcan only had 3 members the entire series.

Admittedly not much, and certainly nothing since the mid 90's. I have seen sporadic episodes of the much older series- the original Go Ranger, Goggle V, and Dynaman. And of course ZyuRanger, Dai ranger, and Kakuranger which correspondent (sort of??) with the first incarnations of MMPR in the U.S. But my experience is more with Super Robot Anime's like Combattler V & Golion (5 member teams) that also follow this formula. Even ninja Science Team Gatchaman (arguably the 1st Anime Super sentai) did this.
There has never been a "Scientifically Accurate" Dinosaur portrayed on any Television Show, Movie, or Documentary. Only what the human imagination can conceive, and I'm ok with that.
