Is there any mods that feature monsters of any kind? Sorry for sounding stupid, but I honestly don't know this stuff.

Nah, mods'll getcha banned. Or not. I don't know.

If you want to try it out, buy/rent yourself a copy of Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary if your looking for a fresh start.

It's basically a remake of the first one with better graphics (debatable) and a better multiplayer system (again, debatable).

The only "monsters" that appear are the Guta in Halo: Reach:

according to this, Elites aren't playable in Multiplayer.Personally I enjoyed playing as the Elites,and their armors were pretty cool(Ascetic and General FTW).So now the question is, who will be the other multiplayer option(s)?

The Guta look cool. They remind me of Cloverfield and Orga. Do they ever act as enemies or bosses for the player, or are they just background characters?

Only in that campaign, but NPC Moa birds run around in other stages.

Raging works because fans know what they want in the Halo series you take the Elites out you take out the only Covenant species that can actually kill a Spartan. Throughout Covenant/Human war, Sangheili are the only known species that killed Spartans. So it's a worthy opponent for Spartans to fight with. Tomorrow 343 is gonna give us big news on Halo 4. This. Brutes are physically stronger, and arguably more dangerous than Elites.

^I must concur only in the fact of brutality. Elites are cunning, agile, and fearsome opponents while Brutes are powerful, savage and endurant. They both are two different types of warriors yet each species are deadly in their own right.
