Well, I have no idea what the hell this is about, but the guy who posted that video has a load of other videos from the same show where they are fighting monsters that are either reused Toho suits or insanely accuate replicas.

The monsters they fight include...

Gabara

King Kong from KKE

And what appears to be a slightly older Minya...

Godman also fought Gorosaurus. It wasn't uncommon for these Toho series to recycle monsters.

Wow, nice to see Toho monsters having a comeback (sort of) to television! Is there any way to see the actual entire episodes of these?

Is it just me or does anyone else REALLY want to see Gaira fight Godzilla? I just think that would be amazing.

Any idea where I could watch that by the way?

Why'd they film it off a TV?

That has to me a mashup of the original Minilla suit and a larger suit, as the original Minilla suit was built for a diminutive actor. Nonetheless, that does look almost exactly like Minilla in most respects.

Toho and Tsuburaya Productions reused and recycled parts of classic kaiju suits quite frequently for the TV shows. Dating all the way back to Gomess in Ultra - Q.

I want to see the Gorosaurus fight, were there any more recycled Godzilla monsters in the series?

It would be an interesting battle, if the unmade "Godzilla vs Garagantua" film would have been made it probably would have been Gaira.

It would be quite one sided though, unless Toho gave Gaira some new ability.

I like the idea for the Godzilla vs. The Gargantuas. It could be called Godzilla: War of the Gargantuas

I think a good movie would be this......

The Gargantuas return, but so does Godzilla! Gaira and Sanda continue their fight, but then their sibling fighting gets the attention of Godzilla. Godzilla attacks Sanda and Gaira, but insted of the Gargantuas both teaming up, Gaira still attacks Sanda. Godzilla starts just beating Gaira without mercy, and Sanda attempts to save his brother, but Gaira still attacks Sanda. Godzilla slams Sanda to the ground and continues his attack on Gaira as Sanda watches from the ground. Finally Sanda gives up and decides to flee back into the mountains and go to Mt. Fugi. As he tries to escape, his foot accidently dislodges a boulder that smashes into Godzilla's legs, bringing the radioactive lizard to the ground, giving Gaira a chance to get the upper hand. Gaira starts beating Godzilla and the two slam each other into buildings and such, eventually leading to a battle in the sea where Godzilla finally defeats Gaira. Godzilla then defeats him. Godzilla then comes back to land and travels to Mt. Fuji to take on Sanda, the two meet and Sanda attemps to tell Godzilla to calm down and tries to convince Godzilla not to attack, but he doesn't listen. The two fight and it ends with Sanda slamming Godzilla into the side of a mountain where he is buired by tons of rocks.

THE END

I have to say that seeing Minya fight like that was pretty insane.

It would make sense but isn't Godzilla in this timeline a hero? That would be a pretty drastic change from being a hero to being back as a villian.
