^Because Zone Fighter would be a much more unique choice then JJ. Just look at everthing he can do and ask yourself why go with JJ when you can have him pimped out via ZF.

If it's a boss battle, then it can easily just be two parts. You beat Monster X [cutscene] you fight Keizer Ghidorah. But no transformation mid-battle whenever the AI feels like it.

^ Because it's taxing on the game, can lead to slow down or lag or freezing or even crashing when multiplayer has several people transforming, ect.

Need I list more reasons?

So does anyone want stuff like the ASTOL-MB93's making it in?

That's not at all the reasons.

The main reason I'm opposed to the MX/Keizer Ghids transformation is movepool. It works with Mothra, because the Larva is so basic. But learning full movepools with both MX and KG is annoying. Because they're so different and complex, they really feel like two different monsters.

I'd love to see actual tanks and planes from the movies make it in. But they're a rather small part of the game, so it's not a deal-breaker if they get scrapped for bigger/better things.

And MX/KG are 2 pretty different monsters with different styles, so I'd support them being different characters in-game with no transformation.

(Possible) New Godzilla Game: Easter Eggs/Cameos

An idea inspired by the Earth Cameo featured in Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters for the Super Nintendo. And since the Possible new game is having a helping hand by fans with the monster tallys i think it would be neat to bring back this feature for the game if it sees the light of day and if they can aquire the rights. So if any one has ideas for easter eggs or cameos then type away.

Here are some of my ideas if certain monsters and stages make it into the game.

(Showa Mogera): If defeated a certain number of times or within a remaining time limt at Mount Fuji (1:57 for example) The Mysterian Dome appears in the backround the next time you fight it.

(Showa Ebirah): If defeated at a certain time on a higher difficulty (1:66) The Giant Condor flies over you and around the stage for a few seconds.

(Mothra SOS): When wondering around the stage to fight mothra and if you look hard enough you could find the Shobijin symbol made with desks on the ground ( This idea could only be possible if the game plays from a highly detailed third person angle like in Godzilla Unleashed)

(Fallen Sky Scraper from Godzilla 1984): When wondering around the Metro area of Tokyo ( at night ) deep enough you could find the intact Sky Scraper that Godzilla used to crush the Super-X laying there.

And thats the basic idea if Easter Eggs or Cameos make it into the possible game.

Thats why I put the * next to monsters most likely not to be in the game. Like Ultraman, Gamera, Orochi, Gomora, etc. At the very most they might have a freshly created monster based off of them, but that is it.

8 - First Ultraman (wouldnt be included w/ the "Toho Pack" but as Simon said he wants to release various monster packs)
9 - Zilla
10 - Showa Minya
11 - Gabara
12 - Gorosaurus
13 - Showa Gigan
14 - Space Godzilla
15 - Showa King Seesar
16 - Sanda
17 - Gaira (Listed seperately cause they'd need different movesets, roars, character models, etc)
18 - Showa Kumonga
19 - Heisei Godzilla (1989 or 1991 suit)
20 - Destoroyah

I'd love to see all of the Super X's make an appearance. They could be mid bosses, maybe, along with the Gotengo. I figure most people would be satisfied with just bringing back the Super X-III though, am I right?

Could someone give me a summary of the game's current status?

Very little has been decided or started. Strange has contacted Toho and gotten hold of Pipeworks, but there's been little actual development.
