Well this was on Wednesday, but I didn't get to post it so I'm posting it now. I had the day off, and my boyfriend woke me up in the morning and told me he took the day off work and he was taking me to the zoo. So we went to the Franklin Park Zoo in Boston and it was pretty much perfect. It was perfect weather and the zoo was pretty much empty since it was a weekday, and all the animals were like right in the front of their exhibits so we saw everything up close. It was awesome. And I got a backpack shaped like a poison dart frog. Yay!

Today is good too because I ended up getting another day off, which is nice after the week I've been having. I've been working 10-14 hr shifts, and then my rats figured out how to escape their cage on Thursday so I had to drop a bunch of money on a new cage and put up with my roommate's bullshit since I had to leave their cage in the tub while I was at work that day (they can't crawl out of the tub). Oh well, at least the rats are happy since they now have a 4-story rat mansion that I had to reorganize the entire apartment to fit...

Finally got the new boat all fixed up... and we went out on the lake today and I got to speed around.

Went fishing with my dad. I caught the biggest bass I've ever caught in my life. 20 inches long, 10 around, and he weighed about 6 lbs. 'Twas amazing. I could have kept it for dinner, but it was kinda special to me so I let it go.

I had the most amazing time last night. I met up with my girlfriend around 5:30 and we got dinner, then went for a walk around the town she lives in. Then at 7 we went to see The Hunger Games, which was fantastic. We hung out for a while after that. It was a great time.

It's my mom's favorite movie so I grew up watching it. I'm excited to see it in theaters, since I was only 5 when it came out. I know it's totally cheesy but god dammit I love it anyway.

And lol what? She's actually younger than Leo. She was 20 and he was 21. Random trivia!

I remember seeing Titanic in theaters late 1997 with my Mom and I remember sleeping during most of the movie. I doubt I will like the movie any better now then I did. I do hear the 3D looks great and has better 3D then The Phantom Menace did in 3D.

Seeing any movie re-released in 3D for me depends on how well the 3D is done. I hope they get better at reworking Star Wars in three dimensions, the 3D wasn't very good on Phantom Menace.
