In my basket I got 6 Cadbury Eggs, a chocolate bunny, 2 jelly bean filled eggs and two Triceratops head shaped eggs with Sweet Tarts in it. And some Peeps to BBQ later.

My boyfriend is home for easter, and so is our roommate, so I've had the apartment to myself for two days since I have to stay here for work. It's been kinda nice.

I got candy and a $25 giftcard to Gamestop. Reese's eggs are always awesome to eat for Easter.

Breakfast with my parents, sister and Grandfather. Ham and Eggs.

Ham Sandwiches for lunch at my Grandmas...

Beer Baked ham for dinner at my OTHER grandparents.

Easter is a purely Christian holiday. Unlike Christmas which other non-Christian countries have adopted as a day of gift giving and good merriment, Easter is purely devoted to the return of Christ. Even the Easter Bunny bringing eggs (sign of rebirth) is designed for the rebirth of Jesus.

Some would argue that giving gifts at Christmas is tied to the Three Wisemen giving gifts to Jesus at the manger, but gifts have been given on birthdays since before Christ.

...or it's like everyone else says, Google is run by Jews. :shrugs: I dont care.

We just had a egg hunt and I won $4 from some eggs that they hide across the ground. Better then nothing, I still remember when I found the special $50 egg back in 2002.
