This guy is one year older than me, and graduated from my High School last year. He's currently a Freshman at the college I'm going to be attending in the fall. He's very excited about it, too. See, last year, he sat kinda close to me in the library in the mornings before school started, and he decided that we were best friends. So he was always asking for rides places, because he didn't have his own vehicle. And, of course, I, being the stupid nice guy, always obliged. He even got my phone number from a mutual friend. He's always texting me about how great college life is and how excited he is that I'm going to be there, even in the middle of the night. He's supposed to be a "responsible" guy, too. It's just weird and irritating.

I feel kind of bad, but still annoying when autistic or people with aspergers butt in a conversation or just generally rude.

^It's bad enough when those type of people use it as a excuse to act bad in public. I also hate it when my mom and my sisters talk about personal stuff in the living room when you have other people. It's annoying when I'm doing paper work then I hear my sister and my mom yelling at each other stuff over stupid shit.

There's 2 autistic guys who hang around where I sit at while I'm waiting for class and they're just very obnoxious and rude.
One time one of them screamed "Everyone shut the skreeonk up so I can talk about magic the gathering". It was in the cafeteria area with a bunch of people...

Yeah sometimes the autistic kid at my school will just be very rude, obnoxious, loud, etc. Like the one time he was talking about Skyrim and got into a fight with another autistic kid about whether dragon or daedric armor was better, I was irritated

I can only think of one person in my school that might be autistic. Then again, I have absolutely no idea what's up with him, but autism is my best guess. Hard to imagine what a school with 2+ of them would be like.

Depending on the level of their autism, a person can range in condition from mild disassociated feelings all the way to non-functioning. I hear what you guys are saying about the 'annoying' and 'obnoxious' behaviours, but try and have an even hand; many times the effects of this neurodevelopment disorder are crippling to these people, much is internal.

When I was in school for culinary arts, there was this DOUCHEbag kid named Paul that was in many of the classes. He was obnoxious, rude, tactless, stinking, loud, and VERY irritating. He also happened to have a tick disorder that involved him jerking and swaying back and forth and madly wriggling his fingers at times, like a fly fisherman. Sadly, after an argument one day, i not only degraded Paul regarding his personality, but also his disability. I'll tell ya, I felt like trash for years because of it. Only recently did I see him at the comic shop and we got down to bare bones.

Of course a 'disability' doesnt give a person the RIGHT to be a DICKWAD, but just think on it a minute....

We're not saying all autistic people are like that. And the one I know doesn't cause many problems, he's just rather annoying and his mother doesn't help

Then you're ok in my book. It's just the ones who are rude individuals I can't stand.

The magic the gathering guy wasn't even like high level autistic. His condition is pretty mild and aware of his disability.
He just uses it as an excuse a lot of times and is an overall loud jerk to people.

Exactly. In that case, if he is aware of himself, then I'd say he is probably just being a jerk-off. I felt the same about this Paul kid....like friggin Peter Griffin doing all of that ridiculous shit and then saying "S'O.K, I'm retahded!" "Retahded, its alright!"

Wonder whats up with those 'Magic' cards. My former brother-in-law tried to teach me back when he was 16, but shiiiiit, I couldnt grasp it a bit.
I'm curious about it, always have been. I love high fantasy, and I have access to endless boxes of cheap cards.

Some autistic people can act better then most people and can be smarter then a lot of people. I know some who are super smart at math and history, and acts like a normal person.

^ For real. Those people are known as 'Savants'. They are often hypnotically focused on a certain thought-pattern, such as math or symbols, yet cannot look someone in the eye nor hold a conversation.
Strange how the human mind works. Some say that certain neuro 'disorders' are actually 'enhancements'; while the right brain operates at a sluggish rate, the left brain operates with LAZER accuracy.

I never really understood magic the gathering either. My older brother use to play it a lot when we were younger.
Now a lot of kids at my college play it during breaks or waiting for their next class.
I never get card games in general except for playing cards like soltaire, black jack, etcetc

I try playing Magic once and I had no idea how to play it. I collect the cards when I was younger because the art work on the cards look awesome, but Yu-Gi-Oh was much more fun to play. I used to play the Digimon and Pokemon TCG when I was younger and still have most of my old cards. They also made a DBZ card game but I had no idea how to play it?
