Just great. It's on both of her eyes now. I don't think I'll be sleeping very much tonight. And this is all happening because my parents don't feel like paying a lot of money to bring her to the emergency room since the vet is closed. The last time I heard " Oh, we'll just bring him in the morning" my cat died......

Very sorry to hear of your domestic situation. I know that you mentioned in another thread that your mother was in a 'drunk-like' state often. There are always resources out there these days, from social services to websites and beyond...
Its hard as hell to find a SOLID person to spill your guts to, believe me, you need to try and be a damned good judge of character. I'm sure that there are probably folks here on this site that are are your age and in similar situations...maybe try and network?

On a serious note, Kiryu, I hope everything gets better, I know what it is like to have parents that argue all the time, and live with a drunk. (My dad is an alcoholic). I also know what it is like for someone to tell you they are gonna kill themselves. (My best friend came to me with suicide)

Alcohol, yes. In many hands it is a terrible device. Ruins lives, decimates families and friends. My pop drank nearly every day, though he wasnt a 'mean drunk', he was a kind man. He was a veteran of WW II and had spent several years in Europe 'disposing' of Nazis, so you might think that he would be bitter/disturbed, but, nope. Alcohol does different things to different people, oddly. Many (over) consume booze to try and cope with their personal pains and/or terrors, many to escape the past. Personally, after a few drinks I become Baloo the Bear mixed with the Ox King, having long-ago dealt with my own pains/demons.

Anyhow, Kiryu, as I said, I'm sure that many folks here might lend you a hand.

There's not shit in them, how they keep the calorie count so low.

For the price, I expected a bit more. I mean, a Coca Cola has 120 calories it and it's more filling.
