PC vs Consoles

Which one do you guys like better? I like consoles better because all you need is a TV too hook them up and that's pretty much about it. It seems like you always need so much requirements just to play them since I remember when my family got Zoo Tycoon 2 in 2004 that we didn't had the graphic card to run it and the card to run it was over $100. Same with Sims 3 when I try to play it on my PC at the time in 2009 that it can hardly run smoothly. Not to mention it seems like PC's cost more money then consoles do since I remember my Mom had to pay $800 for her new PC last year.

I used to be a big PC gamer back in 90's with AVP, Doom, Dues Ex, and Quake 3, but since then that a lot of games on the PC have been move to the consoles. I think the last major PC game that I play was Unreal Tournament 2004 at a local PC torunament in Ocean City, MD in 2004 or 2005.

I say consoles, but PCs have games like Fallout, Skyrim and Oblivion which have some pretty awesome mods.

These debates are really just as pointless as Consoles vs Consoles vs Consoles debates. They all have pros and cons, what it all boils down to is what kind of gamer you are and what games you want to play and how much you're willing to spend.

PC has the better graphics and the ability to mod and such. But I still prefer consoles over a PC, like Hellspawn said you don't have to worry about system requirements and such.

PC. More expensive? Yes. But when it comes down to it, you can do sooo much more on a PC with mods, expansion packs, dual monitors, etc. This isn't including all the other stuff outside of video games that PC's can do that a console can't.

Consoles. Graphics on them are still amazing even if they're better on PC and I don't even download mods with the games I play on my computer already. It also comes down to requirements and price

I say both are good for gaming so there is no point in arguing which is better and which is not. But im more of a console player.

Consoles have a slight edge over PC. Your PC or laptop is obsolete 3 days before you buy it. Your console is top of the line for gaming on it's platform until the next gen of controls (which seems to be like 7-10 years apart). In 7-10 years, your PC or laptop is a glorified paper weight.

But I play games on my laptop more then my 360. WoW, Harry Potter, MAME, MMORPGs... if 360 had WoW on it, I'd play it til it burned up.

I say consoles because I don't have many games I want to play that are only on PC. Also for the reasons above.
