I honestly think it too more time for the Megazord to defeat a typical monster, than it did Optimus to beat the Fallen.
All that build up for nothing.

God Bayformers sucks.

At least it was Optimus who got to beat the Fallen, and not some conveniently-placed scrawny kid who conveniently had a giant cube that conveniently instakills any transformer. You want a disappointing outcome? Because THAT outcome was far more disappointing than watching Optimus simultaneously manhandling Megatron and the Fallen.

But the movie points it out that the all spark was raw power and it can kill any transformer if put in the spark chamber. Megatron's was open thanks to the F-22 aerial support.

Huh I rather enjoyed the irony of the situation, as well as a villain built up as a threat actually ya know BEING a threat. Rather than "I AM THE ULTIMATE EVILZ. OH NOES I GOT HIT I AM DFEETED!"

Technically the concept wasn't introduced in Bay's movie. I think Beast Wars was the first to introduce the Sparks.
