I never saw a difference.

...Really? How could you not notice a difference in Stewie? How in the earlier seasons, he's freakin' hilarious, always wanting to take over the world, coming up with new intentions, and wanting to kill his mother... and then in the later seasons just being a gay stereotype. And it's not just Stewie. Every character is guilty of this. Specifically, Meg, Peter and Brian. Every character changed for the worst, and for no adequately explained reason.

I do agree with you, it's a bit annoying, especially the whole "Meg is a punching bag" thing.

Yeah, but he still uses that wood sword, and not the demon blood sword, or his old gold sword, which is better then the wood sword, but not as cool as the demon blood sword

Probably good advice. I personally am indifferent to the show. I watch with my little brother sometimes, and it's funny enough, but nothing I'd go out of my way for.

To answer the original question, I don't 'hate' any shows. I watch what I like, and ignore everything else.

The only show out of that bunch I like is Regular Show, but I liked Flapjack before, but now, not much

Modern cartoons, games and movies don't get such advantages because they are still recent. I'm not going to claim that all of those old shows were absolutely the greatest thing ever, since newer cartoons like Batman: B&B and the new Advengers cartoon are good shows. People do like older stuff because most older stuff are better in a critical stand point of view.

Or maybe its because they grew up with them, and simply can't accept that they aren't the mindblowingly awesome thing of their childhood. Case in point- original TF cartoon. Beast Wars and Animated (and based on most Prime as well), along with the comics blow it out of the water, but some will hold onto it as though it is some groundbreaking masterpiece.

Well sometimes they just like it because it's better. Compare Batman: TAS to something recent like The Batman (2005-2008) and people will say it's better because it has better animation, story telling and voice acting. I don't think they grew up with them as anything to do with it, that would be like saying people hate the Psycho remake because it was nothing like the original movie that they watch in the 1960's .

I don't like them because I don't feel them appealing to me. The new Avengers cartoon came out over a year ago and I really enjoy it because it has good characters, a good story and nice animation. I don't know why people think they older stuff because of Nostalgia (Like you mention in the Thing '011 thread that people hate the prequel because it was new when I never saw the 1982 movie until I was 15 which was six years ago. I don't know why I would feel nostalgic for something I didn't see until six years ago)?

I love both Batman TAS abd The Brave and The Bold simply because i'm a comic book fan.

I laughed a few months after TeenNick started its "90's Are All That" block because it turns out that most of the shows I grew up with suck. Like Doug. Terrible. It's just about a pansy loser with only one real friend who can't even talk to the girl who likes him and lives in a fantasy world so he doesn't have to deal with reality.
