Well if that $80 includes shipping then I'd say its a decent enough price.

Eh, I'll probably just hold off on it though. I've been spending a lot lately and should save up.
Plus I need all the money I could get in order to pay for MonsterArts Rodan and KG.

CSToys has him for 34.09 before shipping. That's a fantastic price. That's cstoys.com. You may also want to try mandarake.com.

Make sure and check the shipping before you buy it. Here's another http://ekizo.mandarake.co.jp/shop/en/item_s-847344.html

Also, if you or anyone knows, do you have any idea how you pay with credit card on CSTOYS?
It's actually quite confusing, even with the FAQ.

I have one.

I actually tried ordering from Mandarake.com, but they are too damn confusing! So I messaged them and asked to just cancel my order. They say that they don't "accept cancellations" but since I didn't pay for my order then I don't see the fuss. I've actually never liked paying through Paypal unless it's something through Ebay. I prefer paying through credit, and unfortunately none of the sites seem to be able to charge credit.

Different =/= obsolete. If you don't have the shelf space and can only choose one, then so be it, but an articulated toy doesn't make all previous vinyl versions obsolete. I just got the standard Red King and, if I get the Ultra Act, plan to display both, space allowing.
Now it's dark...

Didn't knew that either. Maybe it was written on that little white card in front of the figure, just like with Ultraman Max and King Ghidorah. Anyhow, I haven't seen a closeup pic of that card so far...

Good for you (not being snarky). For me my Red King 2.0 is outmoded. More power to ya if you have the space. I don't... Though perhaps he can perch on the nightstand...

Surprised that Hyper Zetton wasn't unveiled. Maybe they're waiting to see how the movie does. If he and Saga are made I'm skipping the latter for sure. His design just isn't appealing to me.

Does anyone else think they should repaint (or slightly retool) Golza and release him as a non exclusive Fire Golza?

Then they could as well rework Gomora and Red King and release the EX versions of them - it won't happen, although these would be the definition of epicness then. I, however, would be totally pleased, if BANDAI'd get finally around to reissue the SGS vinyl Fire Golza, now that they're pumping out masses of Heisei monsters lately.

No, really, now that I'm thinking of ULTRA-ACT EX Gomora & EX Red King figures... man, they'd be so unbelievably cool!

Ah, I see! ToyArk's Tokunation lists Red King as being released in August, for 4,200 JPY, which is about $55 US. However, AmiAmi( & others )will probably discount that price. Works for me! Fire Rodan is coming in July, & King Ghidorah in September, so Aug. is MonsterArts-free, making Red King easy to pick up at that time!

Now, who was saying that we may not see Red King for sale for a year, or two? Hmm?

Wouldn't EX Red King be an easy retool? Larger arms, different feet, and a new paint scheme and BLAMMO! EX Red King. Gomora would need an entirely new sculpt, though.

Yep. EX Red King has toe claws while normal Red King lacks them entirely.

I'm more excited for August. Red King and Rodan.

Jesus Tamashii has me by the short hairs for the next couple months.

April: Garuda
May: Moguera x2
June: Little Godzilla x2
July: Rodan x2, Hayata x2
August: Red King x2
September: King Ghidorah x2
