Can Godzilla survive on the sun?

Postby GodGan » Mon Apr 02, 2012 11:43 am

Godzilla survived in a volcano, a black hole, a tectonic plate on his back, a freaking ball of fire from gmk , and could survive gamera's super turtle beam of hyper death. But what about the Sun? oh and godzilla even destroyed a meteor.

1. Godzilla never survived a black hole.
2. He also never destroyed a meteor.
3. He also never supported a tectonic plate on his back.
4. He would instantly be vaporized.

Godzilla survived the Dimension tide. But it's not really a real black hole, probably nowhere near as powerful

But no, he probably couldn't survive on the sun. It'd be pretty stupid if he could

Even if it missed him, he still survived it. It pretty much exploded right next him.

Well, Godzilla has survived stranger things.

What I wanna know is how Godzilla would be on the sun in the first place.

Maybe the Xiliens or some other alien race sent him there to dispose of him? But in all honesty, the idea of this thread is completely ludicrous.

I really, really doubt it.

Godzilla isn't indestructible.

Oh my God. would you STOP IT with this. I have explained this before.

1. It is impossible for it to have "missed" him because the characters went through extraordinary precautions to ensure it would not miss him by any stretch. It was right on top of him, and the radius of destruction was so immense around him, so he certainly didn't quickly dash past its event horizon, especially when he was being completely stationary shooting at it with his ray.

2. Ok, say it DID miss him(despite, in that case, it landing next to him or something(which wouldn't matter because you'd be NEXT TO A BLACK HOLE, which is JUST as bad.) where did Godzilla go? He was gone. No, he was not hiding under the rubble, because someone would have SEEN him get out and leave towards the ocean. No, he did not burrow his way out, because they would have detected the seismic activity, as they did months later in the ending to show he's still alive. Godzilla was gone. He got hit by the Black Hole and disappeared. How he got out is anyone's guess. His ray destabilized it, making him able to break onto our plane in a different time? A piece of his flesh was left over big enough for him to regenerate from? Idk, point is, it HIT him.

I don't think Godzilla would survive that kind of heat; not to mention he wouldn't be able to breath.

More importantly, though, he SHOULDN'T be able to. This is just too extreme of a situation.

What kind of a question is this?

1. The sun is 10,000° Fahrenheit (5,500° Celsius) so Godzilla wouldn't last any where near the sun. The only thing that is hotter then the sun a lightning bolt.
2. It is unknown if Godzilla survived a black hole.
3. he is lucky to survive a volcano, when he is a very large animal

Wait... Godzilla has been struck by lightning bolts before.... and they didn't do much....

A single bolt only strikes one area for a fraction of a second. The surface of the Sun is constant, blanketing heat.

Also, it's only the surface that lightning is as hot as. The mantle and core of the Sun are farrrr hotter.

...Yeah, he was. In Godzilla vs. MechaGodzilla, Godzilla vs. Biollante, Godzilla X MechaGodzilla, as well as artificial lightning inducers in Mothra vs. Godzilla and King Kong vs. Godzilla. Hell, there may be even more of them that I'm just not thinking of.
