Brutal Legend \m/ \m/

Anyone ever play this badassed game? I love it. It totally got me into heavy metal a few years. Great soundtrack, great characters and designs, great story and voice acting and the cameos from all the legends of metal are just perfect. I loved the legends you could unlock. In fact I would love to see the full big pictures they uncover. That would make a damn cool poster.

Brutal Legend is an underrated title that's in need of some refining. The RTS elements are its weakest link, and the narrative loses cohesion after Ophelia's death. However, the gameplay is mostly solid, the production values successfully exude that post-apocalyptic hardcore rock theme Double Fine was shooting for, and the voice acting and sound track are great. I think it goes for $15 or less, so if any of you have a PS3 or 360 and have yet to play it, it's worth the meager investment.

I like this game a lot, even though I'm not a big fan of RTS-styled gameplay. Has anyone ever played Psychonauts? That was the first game made by Double Fine, the same team that made this game.

I HATED that I couldn't skip that Jack Black intro every time I played the game. Yeah, Jack Black is in your game! I GET IT!

Psychonauts was easily one of the best games of the last gen. It got me really excited for Brutal Legend, until I found out it was an RTS Regardless, I like to keep an ear and an eye out for Double Fine, they do very cool, unusual stuff.

Brutal Legend isnt an RTS. It just has some RTS sections which are actually quite fun. Most of the game is quite different. You have driving and stuff too.
