Shanghai is too exotic and golden to be destroyed. Houston has too many gangs; I'd feel no great loss if Megalon leveled that place.

I'd like to see this island community ,known as a haven for the rich and famous, and on top of that ,being quite the popular summer seaside vaction spot like Amity in the JAWS flicks. The location with its classic arceitecture reminds me a bit of the neighborhood Godzilla stomped through in the beginning of G-2000. And truthfully, the main reason this location comes to mind is this particular scene from the classic comedy, One Crazy Summer.(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r4wJMvw_ra4)

I voted San Francisco. Of course I'm biased because I live relatively close, and it has always been a fun place to visit. Aside from Dreamworks Monsters vs Aliens (which I thought was awesome!). I dont think there are enough city destruction movies featuring SF. I'm still disappointed that all the scripted scenes of SF destruction in Independence Day were never filmed. Also on all the Godzilla Atari pipeworks games I can never get enough of destroying SF .

LA is my first choice, then San Francisco as second or San Antonio ........ Actually any of those but NY.. most over-rated, over-used (in films) place on the damn planet... I'm so sick of it an i have never even been there an have zero interest in visiting..

NY is overused? Most major disaster films happen in LA.
And I agree with a more War of the Worlds type deal.
