I don't really like the head on that guy. It looks good, but in the one close up shot it looks unbelievably goofy.

I LOVE that design, but the way the artist painted it makes Godzilla look so much smaller then he really is. That Car in the corner throws it all off.

The building in the background makes it a little better. You can tell, Godzilla is close to that and you get a nice frame of reference.

Love the arms, legs and torso. I would make the tail about a 1/3 smaller too thick now. The head about a 1/3 bigger. Maybe change the fins a little.

The Uchusen Godzilla is probably the best Goji redesign I have seen... but it's not perfect. For one, Godzilla should not be that horizontal.

It looks like it is just leaning forward as it's tail is raised, but if that is indeed how it's posture would always look, it would lose that defiance that Godzilla exhibits by standing tall, towering over most enemies.

Whatever design they use it has to look like Godzilla and not some new monster. And it has to be as good or better than most of the G designs used by Toho over the years. I just hope that they don't try to reinvent the wheel like Devlin and Emmerich did with their movie. So far all we've heard is that they get it - GINO was a mistake 14 years ago and fans didn't like it.

Personally, I'd go for a modified King Kong VS Godzilla era design. That was a great suit.

Yeah, Godzilla only looked a bit weird when its head turned toward the camera and you see so little space between the eyes. In profile though it looked like a nice draconic take on how Godzilla could look, kind of like what they did with GINO's head without going overboard.

Yeah, it kind of reminds me of Quadratus from Shadow of The Colossus, given the number of toes and shape of the legs. Imagine being a human and having to climb around on Anguirus, and then it suddenly decides to roll over. Why couldn't they put that in a movie, or even better a videogame
lol. Wow. That avatar. That's certainly a better helmet for Magneto than what he was wearing in the first X-Men films lol.

That's pretty good. It looks like it needs some tweaking, but if it was a rush job that's understandable.

Thanks Rody it was a just for fun a hour or two roughing clay nothing serious I'm sure if I were to go back to the idea I would have a finished sculpt.
Thanks.

One thing I liked in particular is the crocodilian scutes on the head and neck.

I loved the muzzle, brow ridges, as well as the scutes.
Very well done over all. One small observation the ventral skin pattern seems to disconnected from the dorsal scutes.

It's amazing. My only suggestion is to make the fangs just a little bit smaller and give them more texture. Other than that, it's fantastic and I'd love it if that were the actual design.

@Bcutty
Very nicely done, if that is what you make as rush job, I wonder what it would look like if you took your time.

This is a really well done sculture. How much time do you spent making it?
