Okay, new question.

I'm kind of interested in some of Bandai's other "mini-figures", such as the Battle Set, Battle Box, and Sofubi figures. If anyone has these, I'd like to see how good of quality they are, as well as how they compare to each other and to, say, High Grades or standard vinyls.

The "battle box" and "battle set" are two parts of a larger overall line. Club Tokyo doesn't list them all under the same category, but rest assured that they are identical in sculpt, scale, and packaging. They are:

2002 "Mini Battle G Set":
http://www.clubtokyo.org/listings/itemListingRpt.php?catID=2&subCatID=48&contentID=401
2003 "Battle Set 1" through "Battle Set 3":
http://www.clubtokyo.org/listings/itemListingRpt.php?catID=2&subCatID=48&contentID=1325
http://www.clubtokyo.org/listings/itemListingRpt.php?catID=2&subCatID=48&contentID=1326
http://www.clubtokyo.org/listings/itemListingRpt.php?catID=2&subCatID=48&contentID=1327
2004 "Battle Box Set":
http://www.clubtokyo.org/listings/itemListingRpt.php?catID=2&subCatID=49&contentID=1576
2005 "Battle Box Set", not listed on Club Tokyo:
    Godzilla 2005 vs Zilla
    Godzilla 1989 vs Rose Biollante
    Godzilla 1992 vs Battra adult
    Godzilla 2002 vs Baragon
(I think there's a fifth box in this set, but it escapes me at the moment)
Here's a shot of the '89 w/ Biollante set:
http://www.clawmarktoys.com/images/hypergrose.jpg

Most figures are about 3 3/4 in height, are hollow rubber in composition, and are uniform in size/scaling. I definitely recommend them, but they will vary widely in pricing. Also, getting a complete set of the Final Wars assortment is incredibly tough w/o a lot of patience.

The 5th set is Mothra Larva '64 VS King Ghidorah '64. Neat figures!

However, here's some pictures of them from my own collection. I took them years ago:

Great photos, Pete. They really display the appeal of these figures. Why, you should write an article for Skreeonk.com including some of your excellent photography :D!

And Rody, if you're interested in a Bandai US Pack of Destruction at a good price, PM me.

Actually, I already own the Pack of Destruction. ;)

Thanks for the photos, Petezillla. Those are great. Thanks also to G1985; I was aware of the Clubtokyo pages, but appreciate the help anyway.

So, what's the recommended price to pay if I managed to find some of these?

EDIT: Following up on an inquiry in the "Looking For This" thread, could someone show me a comparison between the Bandai 6" Showa Gigan and the Parababy Gigan?

Gonna sound weird, but general Bandai Godzillas with the MonsterArts ones would be appreciated. Namely, the Goji84, G2k, 54, and 55 would be PERFECT!

If you can help, thanks!

I'd like to see some photos of the vintage Rodan with any 6/6.5 inch figure.

Gyaos and King Caesar there are two average height 6" Bandais. Hope that helps!

He's a good looking figure, I'd definitely recommend picking one up if you can find it for a decent price (somewhere around $45 or below).

No problem. They're usually on eBay for decent prices.

UPDATE: Boom. Like so:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Bandai-Rodan-19 ... _500wt_969

Thats an excellent deal. He's in superb condition and comes to you with free shipping at $45, which is right at the estimate I shot you. Not bad at all.

If you care about having a tag attached, however, you'll be paying a good $40-50 more.

Thanks! The tags are nice, but not worth the 40 more dollars in my opinion. I'm going to order it now.

Anyone have any extensive line-ups of the Ultra-Act line? I got the main kaiju, wondering if I should go all in on the various Ultramans or not...

I like photos very much. You won't hear any complaints from me. :-)

While I'm at it, I'll bring up one of my own requests again: could someone show me a comparison between Bandai's 6" Gigan & the Parababy Gigan?

By the way, I have a request of my own....one of the main figures on my "want" list is the Marmit MH Hedo-Goji (aka "Gonad" Goji) figure which is holding Hedorah's eyes/eggs/testicles/whatever. I bought the Xplus one, and it's good, but the MH figure is the one I *really* am after. If anyone has any interesting pics, please share them!

This picture of my collection shows the 100% complete lineup as of early September 2011.
It also including all four limited exclusive figures: Darklops Zero, Imit Ultraman, Golza and Astra.
Note that only the posed figures are shown, But not all of their accessories!
I may post an updated picture with all the later released figures later on, as they are currently stashed away in boxes.
These would include Ultraman Gaia V2, Ultraman Agul V2, Ultraman Dyna, Glenfire, Mirror Knight and Jean-bot.
