Should Mecha-Godzilla be use in the reboot?

I'm sorry, but Baragon is just too weak for an opponent, and too darn cute for this film. But would that then imply G to be evil, or would Baragon be evil?

Um, just because Baragon was weak in past films doesnt mean you cant make him a formidable opponent in another, and give him a menacing design if he is gonna be used as a vilian for Godzilla to fight.

That works too, I just would rather G battle an evil opponent rather than just a monster.

I love Mechagodzilla as much as the next guy, but I think he needs a break.

I think King Ghidorah desperately needs a break.

All the monster's in the Godzilla franchise have been on break since 2004, By the time this films release it will be a good decade since we have seen any of them.

An while Godzilla maybe Iconic an well known to the Public, General audiences aren't familiar with any other monsters in the Toho series outside of possibly Mothra.

So while we all be thrilled with a new monster, or a lesser used villain... American Audiences would be just as pleased with a proper adaption for King Ghidorah, Mecha-Godzilla, Rodan an many other's even a Mothra ''could'' be done if handled right.

I would prefer Mechagodzilla to appear in a sequel, since he's sequel material. It would work for him to appear in the first film, but it would be better if he was saved for the sequel.

If MG shows up in the LP film (which I'm sure he wont) it will most likely be a brand new version of the character with a brand new design.

True. Mogura was a bitch in the old film then in GvsSG he became one of the most durable tanks of the 90's. And Rodan has sort of gone through the reverse going from being one of Godzilla's equals to just being an above average monster.

No way.

First off, MechaGodzilla needs a complex, decent origin going for him in this kind of era, and to give him the time he needs, he'd overshadow Godzilla in here. So that's a no.

Second off, if they stick with the 'kaiju defense' idea, they can't go right away. They'd need a universe where monsters already attack all the time, which I doubt will be the idea for movie #1.

Looking at that Pacific Rim poster yesterday it got me thinking. If they can build robots that big then MechaGodzilla is certainly doable for the LP Godzilla movies but Id save him for the 3rd
