I got the Max series on ebay for around 30 as well. The subtitles are hilariously bad and it makes the whole experience better somehow. I'm about to start on the Mebius series. In fact, maybe I'll start right now...

Yeah, that's him. Gave Ultraman quite a fight, actually knocked him down. (Finally!) And really? I had looked up the figure earlier, the paint job is quite un-pleasing in my opinion.

This is Hydra(Hidora) from the first Ultraman we're talking about, correct? Cool monster, fun little Bandai toy. But if we're going to talk about monsters that are bad news for automobiles, Crazygon is the way to go!

Yeah, that's good ol' Hydra, this bird/dragon/Rodan hybrid thing. I just looked up Crazygon....looks a bit like Moguera.

Can't wait to see this famous Zetton in the final episode.

The fight with Zetton was kinda a disappointment to me I expected a little more.

So anyone else found Episode 21 of the original series to be strange? The tone and way it was filmed felt different, but still was one of the better ones.

Oh, and Telesdon was a cool beast, one of my favorite Ultra monsters currently. Just wish he had his own roar, not Gyango's.

No, seriously, that was totally awesome. Maybe AKB48 will grate on me later in the film? But here they don't bother me at all. I dunno, I really loved this clip! The miniatures and Dyna's reveal are ASTOUNDING. Like, HOLY HELL.

That was cool -- really cool. The mechs were neat, though the animation looked off. Otherwise, the CGI looked terrific. I'll second what Daikamonohashi said about the miniatures and Dyna's introduction. Simply amazing.
