In all honesty, that fight was more of a Ghidorah beatdown than anything else. As soon as he landed, he was toast.

King Ghidorah was holding his own pretty well, I thought. It wasn't until that he was physically knocked to the ground that he was finished for good, but he was keeping them at bay and the option of retreat was always there. Until Godzilla started stomping all over his necks.

But he didn't really take any of the kaiju down for good (Anguiras was dropped from the sky, but he walked off, if I remember correctly). His beams were more of a "Stay Away From Me" move. They inflicted very little damage, hitting Gorosaurus and Godzilla once apiece (again, my memory is a little hazy).

You're right. Ghidorah's beams weren't used to full effect in the battle, and he did try to retreat, but Godzilla stopped him.

I think I can safely say that Ghidorah did not have a quick death, and that he had a tougher beat down then the Gomora within that video
And yes, although Ghidorah is a major dick, he was once again being controlled within DAM.....Shameful.

Lived as a Destroyer, but died as a puppet.

The thing is, KG handled himself really well against Goji and the gang. Any of those Ultramen could have killed that Gomora.

That was pretty rude, and dickish. It's even more of pain when you realize that Sanda saved Gaira's sorry ass, its just one big middle finger to the face.

The scene in WOTG where the fight starts...did it ever seem like "War of the College Roomies" to anyone else? I know Sanda saw the chewed up clothes, but the first thing that scene makes me think of is Sanda walking in, Gaira's shit thrown around everywhere, what a slob, he never pays his half of the electric bill on time, and then to top it all off, Gaira looks over at Sanda all stoned, as if to say "oh, just chill out, you're such an old lady..." and that's IT, Sanda just SNAPS and starts wailing on him with an uprooted tree - "Just GET THE HELL OUT! That's IT! I'M SICK OF YOU! Get your crap together and GET OUT!...

So, Gaira being a freeloading, hiker-chewin' SLOB is one of my favorite dick moves.

I think they're Hedorah's eyes; but I don't know for sure.

I always thought they were eggs, Hedorah having evolved to the point where it would start reproducing like a true organism, and so Godzilla was making sure the next generation didn't hatch...or something. Whatever, I don't know.

For some reason, I've always assumed the orbs were used as a "super organ". Basically, it allowed Hedorah to use all it's special powers like the beams, changing into different forms, splitting up and reforming. That's how I've always viewed it.

Also, upon rewatching Godzilla vs. Gigan, there's a scene where Gigan tries to fly into Godzilla, but instead he hits Ghidorah and falls to the ground. Ghidorah, without missing a beat, starts shooting Gravity Beams at Gigan. Probably one of my favorite parts of the battle.
