^ Same, I've had mine since 8th or 9th grade which was back in 2008. I really want either an Iguana or a Bearded Dragon.

I never said Iguanas are terrible. It's fact they are horrible pets for first time reptiles owners with no experience.

I didn't say none of them were agreeable, just that the few I've known personally have been vindictive, shit-slinging, scaly assholes. Even the local herpetology vet has a nasty iguana, and she's about the most doting pet owner you'll ever meet.

Still, please assure Zilla that I meant no general slur upon his species. :lol:

I've owned an Iguana for about a year and a half (first reptile)

He doesn't whip me, he eats out of my hand and he climbs all over me, sometimes he'll even sit on my head while I'm working by the computer. Still, I'm not entirely sure how to feel about this pet. I've done research and follow guidelines, but he's still an incredibly difficult pet to...Read? I'm waiting for the day he inevitable becomes a total dickass.
