Well I guess as long as they have their original personalities and Bay doesn;t make them unnessecarily violent and bloodthirsty it could work

Too late. They've already changed them. They are no longer the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, but the Teenage Alien Ninja Turtles.

Yeah I hope they don't stick with that, but seriously what is it with movies and aliens recently? I'm betting Bay made them aliens to cash in on Transformers or something of that nature.

I'm sure all of that will be in the new TMNT movie too. We just have to be patient and wait to see what Michael does next.

Bay is only the producer, Freddy in the remake of NOES didn't act like the twin robots. Jonathan Liebesman is the director though, Battle: LA was just a popcorn flick no different from the Transformers films.

I see that clears somethings up, well maybe lack of Bay will save the movie and it could be rather enjoyable....maybe

Sad thing is, Liebesman's actually worse than Bay. I can't get excited aboit a project when I see his name.

Last time he worked with Platinum Dunes was Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning. When they announce they were reuniting, my excitement for a new Turtle movie was drained entirely.

Boll wouldn't have worked with Platinum Dunes because he's "not some skreeonk retard like Michael Bay."

Ratner I don't give two shits about. He's mediocre and visionless, but he's made some amusing movies.

What I'm dying to know is what is the origin of pizza. Is it alien too? That would actually make sense.

How huge do you guys think April's tits are going to be and how much time do you think she'll spend in too-tight short shorts and a cut-off shirt?

You're American. Pizza was created in Italy. Technically, it's foreign to our shores.

As long as she's a reporter, she can be as busty as they want her to be.

Not like April wasnt well-endowed to begin with, lol.

As far as I'm concerned, Bay is still a producer, and he was the leader factor in choosing to make the turtles into aliens. Even if Bay is only a producer, he still has a lot of control into what gets done about the movie. In some ways, the producer can sometimes have more creative control over the film than the director, especially in this case, where the film is based off of long running franchise with several incarnations in toys/television/comics/etc.

In the 80s show, April was STACKED. She couldn't even zip that jumpsuit up all the way.

Christina Hendricks size, Nuff said. I'd watch the movie twice just for her. :)

Heh, giant boobs aside I was thinking about the alien thing and I might know how they'll do it EXCLUDING the mutegen and stuff which btw Fun Fact- the Scientist dude in 2 was suppose to be an utrom but it got cut out or something to avoid confusion with krang.

But yes, how could the alien planet thing work:
Has anyone ever seen planet of the turtleoids? I haven't cause it's not on DVD FOR WHATEVER REASON but that might be the angle they're aiming at. Probably not but you never know, but aliens aside being stupid and all I will give this film a chance until I see a trailer. If it wows me, good I'll see it. If it's like the un-Amazing Spider-man, only if I'm asked too see it or dragged to it I will see it.

I hope it's based on the Mirage Stuff WHICH I'll be reading soon thanks to IDW and it's reprints and hopefully a future volume will contain the fugitoid one shot which the other big collections have that were made in the past. Infact, Volumes one and two MINUS that one shot will have the same exact content the bigger collections have so yays to that.
A proud supporter of just leaving Alienhulk's opinions of films alone and a butthurt non-supporter of the man of steel topic who won't post there until it's merged with the other superman topic.

I fine with that.

First: a question. I don't understand how one movie of a franchise could rape your childhood because they changed it too much. I don't care much for the Turtles being aliens themselves but it doesn't "rape my childhood". How does it ruin your childhood? There's going to be good interpretations and bad interpretations: that's the way it is unfortunately.

Second: The topic has reach Conan. And apparently it's worse then the alien thing.

I was mentioned in the SciFi Japan article about the appearence of extras on the Godzilla vs. Megalon DVD.

I had a gut feeling.

You know, I'm wondering with the alien origin deal, what's up with Splinter? Is he from the same planet? Why does he know ninjitsu? All of that stupid stuff.
