VERDICT:
Both combatants are agile and powerful. I'm leaning towards Godzilla here. He smart, fast and has a very potent Atomic Ray. I think Zetton's Rechannel Ray will pose a problem similar to what Megaguirus did with the absorbed energy. In the end Godzilla will outlast Zetton.

This is going to be a long, drawn out battle. Zetton, however, could handle Gomora and Eleking quite fine on his own. Litra was just an annoyance to him. Godzilla will last quite awhile here, but in the end, Zetton could win this.

Gomora doesn't have regen or an Atomic Ray capable of disabling a black hole

I'm now interested in how a battle between Meg. Goji and Rei's Gomora would go...

Zetton has nothing... NOTHING whatsoever that can put this Godzilla down for the count. Out of every Godzilla incarnation EVER this one has the most stunny regenerative abilities. His ray is powerful, too.

Zetton would man-handle Goji. It's simply the truth. He took Eleking and Gomora at once without issue, and as Megaguirus showed us, Goji doesnt take having his beam used against him very well.

The difference between Godzilla and the UG duo is that it won't just be kung fu and human type fighting. This Godzilla is vicious and animalistic and he'll be tearing at Zetton, biting him, and throwing him with his tail. Not to mention the fact that his spines are razor sharp (with an actual slicing feat). Zetton hits those (or it hit by them) and he could sustain decent injuries.

Zetton's one shot at hurting Goji bad enough to gain the upper hand is the ray reflection ability. And who knows if Godzilla's beam isn't powerful enough to bust his shield.

Godzilla's spines are sharp, but not that sharp. Maybe Megaguirus's claws are just as fragile as wet toilet paper?

I haven't seen GxM in a long while, but didn't Megagiras brush past Godzilla's spikes very quickly while on a flyby? I can easily see how Godzilla's pointy spikes could sever an insect's claw if it brushed against them while moving that fast. That makes total sense to me.

However, Z-Ton sustaining injuries just by touching Godzilla's spikes while in battle doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

Like I said, whose to say that Megaguirus just isn't incredibly fragile? It would explain why it only took one blast from Godzilla's ray to kill her.

Insect chitin is very strong, btw. The chitin of an insect that size would be very hard. In fact, it took effort for Goji to bite through. So writing it off as weak straight off the bat is silly. Also, shr survived being thrown into the ground at incredible speeds so her armor couldn't be that weak.

@Legion, yeah it was a quick flyby... But even so, it would take incredibly sharp spines to cut through her claw the way it did.

Really? Zetton jumps at his opponents all the time. Godzilla actively sliced Megaguirus with his spines. Don't you think he could use the same attack/defense on Zetton?

He doesn't jump at his opponents, (I can't help but think of Zetton pulling a Baragon when you said that). I think the most his spikes would do to Zetton would MAYBE impale his hand, if that. Unless Zetton flies through the air conveniently over Godzilla, the spikes won't come into play. Just look at Godzilla's battles with Orga, Kiryu and Mothra, not the same Godzilla but the spikes are basically the same shape.
