Its okay. We're talking about a show whose target audience is 25-80+ white females.

Better then a show whose target audience is 6-12 year old all-races females (MLP: FiM).

I understand Dark Shadows was a soap from 66-71, but this doesnt have that Edward Scissorhands hit to it with the dated neighborhood. It's like he's trying TOO HARD.

You see, I like 25-80 white females. I like them a lot.

Only General Hospital I've seen was on MST3K. Something about a phoney cake and eyes leering at each other.

Maybe I should watch it right before Dark Shadows?

General Hospital has nothing to do with Dark Shadow.

General Hospital is just a soap opera. Like Dark Shadows is a soap opera.

I'm aware. That was my half-hearted attempt to fix topic derailment. I didn't feel like trying harder.

Slightly hung-over Nick cares not...

But I think we should go back to a semblance of a topic.

Hey I liked it. It's not the movie the trailers lead you to believe. There's comedy in it because it's a Tim Burton movie but it's not in your face like the trailers. It was loads better than Alice in Wonderland.

I could nitpick on certain things but I'm not cause I really enjoyed the rest. BUT there's something at end I'll point out and you see it in a lot of movies nowadays. It's that stupid tacked on moment at the end that basically says "You'll see this in the sequel." I hate that crap. You saw it in the Avengers with Thanos, you have it here, and a dozen other movies of the last few years. It's stupid and it really takes away any closure you get from this movie on its own.

But other than that this gets the Tyler seal of approval.
RIP Ray Harryhausen

Not the worst Tim Burton movie, but far from anything great... Very few laughs... Replace Johnny Depp with another actor an i doubt the film would have been tolerable at all.

The only thing worth watching is the last 15 - 20 minutes, pretty much lost all faith in Tim Burton at this point he hasn't made a film i really enjoyed in over a decade.

Makes me so glad he isn't directing LP Godzilla...(which i remember him being rumored at one point) He would have trashed it almost as bad as Emmerich.

I hear mixed things about the movie and the movie seem to do poorly on it's opening weekend. I think Frankenweenie should make it up for this movie.
