Yeah, it does. I have been looking forward to seeing the original Japanese version of the film.

I should see if I can find a copy of DAM yet.

I don't know why, but the version of DAM I bought [in VHS] had better clarity than Megalon. It's a shame it wasn't widescreen.

MEGALON has been subjected to shoddy, EP mode VHS tapes in the U.S. for decades. Of course something of that low quality going to sound bad, as are unofficial DVD releases that use them as a source.

You can't really compare VHS-quality audio to DVD-quality audio, especially when the VHS is already from an inferior source to begin with.

Well, this was before I started buying all of my movies in DVD format, though.

I understand that, but you're claiming the sound in GODZILLA VS. MEGALON is worse than it is in GIGAN, when actually, it's only a problem found in the format that you're watching it on (VHS), and not a problem with the actual movie's sound design.

I didn't think Godzilla vs Megalon was that bad it just had to much stock footage from other great godzilla flicks. I live near Atlanta, but im probably not going to go see it.

I have a question about Jet Jaguar, ATTENTION I AM NOT 100% SURE ON THIS but I think, remember I said think, because this will sound super weird, but I think I read something that said Jet Jaguar was supposed to really be King Kong or something....I know how it sounds, kind of impossibible.

But does anyone know what I'm talking about? :?

In the German dub, they say Jet is Kong in a robot suit. Germany often 'added' Frankenstein, Kong and other characters into their dubs for marquee value.

That's what I though, I remembered something saying Jet Jaguar was King Kong in a robot suit, it would be a really funny thing to see though.....

Yup, plus they do (apparently) moderate the forums, so by posting it here, it will likely be down in no time.

I think Gidzilla vs. Megalon had a gay undertone, there was an absence of women in that movie. Actually, the only females were the Seatopian dancers
