I still yet to buy UMVC3. Maybe they will give us more single player stuff to keep player's busy.

These are fighting games. They're never going to have branching stories that are super in depth, or be anything like what's seen in the recent Mortal Kombat. None of the past crossovers with Marvel were like that, and I never expected MvC3 to be any different. UMvC3 has more than enough features (and characters) to keep players busy if they choose not to play online.

What is this exactly? Your wish list or rumored characters?

I'm not sure that I believe this is even real.

Well, Asura is very possible. It's one of Capcom's most latest titles, and they want to expose the character as much as possible. They've been doing it a lot lately in Japan. Hell even the DLC of Asura being installed within a SFV fighting format against Ryu has been displayed and know. So that at least tells that they want to stretch this character and his game out widely.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he made it. And to be honest, if he did, then the game would be day one for me lol.

Same here, I have yet to buy UMVS3, and with this announcement, I'm not gonna buy it at all lol.

What are you talking about exactly? SFV hasn't been shown, much less even announced.

I'd take a wait and see approach. For all we know, this isn't even real. Capcom's senior VP is already claiming it's fake, but he could just be trying to cover up a leak. Who knows.

SFV? It took Capcom 12 years to do SF4 and I don't think we will see SFV for years. I really don't care for the whole mission mode thing that they did for single player and they can always give us more things other then a story mode.

Please, I just want Capcom to die

Lately they are just a bunch of assholes

The list goes on:
Using BBA Megaman
No ability to go back on Mercanaries 3D
Charging us for Cheats
Releasing so many Version of SF4 and MvsC3
Adding 10 more dollars to RE: Revelations

This is not even half the list unfortuanlly (sorry for my bad english)

I didn't expect some grand story mode for MvC3, but I did expect more than what we got. Better online game play, tournament mode, more than just three different modes in regular play, etc. I thought Capcom would have learned from the success of Super Street Fighter IV, and tried to duplicate that into MvC3. Instead we got a game that feels incredibly rushed, unfinished and lazy.

I guess to make myself clear, I meant SF4 lol. But its DLC for the character's game, Capcom has talked about inserting Asura into their future cross-over games, this is more or less a way to test the waters. And surprisingly, the results and profit from this surpassed Capcom's expectations.

Like what? All that could really be added is some sort of tournament/team battle mode. UMvC3 already has Arcade, Training, Mission, Heroes and Heralds mode, and the online lobby system. Like I said, this is a fighting game. There isn't much else you can add.

Mission mode is amazing, I don't see how anyone couldn't like it. It teaches you how to play the characters.

This is not a new phenomenon. Capcom has been doing stuff like this since 1991, starting with Street Fighter 2.

Btw Tormenter, (like you said) those images of Asura are from Asura's Wrath, despite looking like SF IV. What you said earlier still didn't really make any sense.

Except with SF2 and SF3, those are actually good games, SF4 and MvsC3 are not

MvsC2 had alot more characters too

God help us when they do this to the Resident Evil games (wait, they already DID!)

While I like all the Capcom crossover fighting games & their Street Fighter games (especially SF IV) but my personal favorite of the bunch is Street Fighter III: Third Strike. It had plenty of characters for its time, great music & excellent graphics. I do admit that the AI can be tough at times but I like fighting games that can be tough & be playable at the same time

No shit, which is why I said "(like you mentioned)". It still doesn't explain why you brought up "SF V" out of nowhere.

KaijuSinCritic wrote:

While I agree with SF II & III being better than IV, that's beyond the point. The games are popular, so naturally, Capcom keeps updating them.

I personally don't like SF IV at all, don't like UMvC3 all that much better, but obviously a whole hell of a lot of other people do.

MvsC2 had alot more characters too

That's because Capcom had 6 years of Marvel sprites to worth with (which was a lot of characters). UMvC3 had 50 characters when you include Jill and Shuma. That's only 6 less, and 50 is still a massive roster, so no..it didn't have "a lot more" characters.

They could also add some type of adventure similar to the adventure mode in Melee. I can never get into Mission mode since it tells you to do moves in a way that I can never understand. Why not just list down X or A instead of pictures of a fist since a casual player is not going to know what means? I know that you are a hardcore fan but what about the casual players as well?

Nope. I like SF4 because it's just better than SF2 imho. UMvC3 has more viable characters than MvC2.
