Not as much of a stretch as the monster from GOJIRA going on to become known as a hero who teams up with giant henshin heroes like Jet Jaguar and Zone Fighter.

i did read it. gojira is understandable because it constantly changes from good to evil and anti hero
so youd expect it but ghidorah has always been evil so when hes good its unexpected to sum it up

The point was that if Godzilla could go from "atomic superbeast that represents the horrors of nuclear war" to "kid friendly ally to henshin heroes," then cant Ghidorah be allowed to pull a 360 move like that?

And in the end, he's still Godzilla's enemy.

I don't really care for GMK. I thought it could have been better as Kaneko's original version. With Angurius(my favorite Toho monster besides Godzilla) and Varan should have been in that movie he deserves to be in more movies. Here are my reasons why i didn't really care for GMK. OK i got sick of seeing Mothra in every movie so that's one reason and if she's so popular Toho should make more Rebirth of Mothras so Mothra can stay out of Godzilla's franchise. Also i hated the fact that Ghidorah was shorter than Godzilla, weaker,and a good guy. seriously he was such a pansy in that film even Baragon was stronger than him. There are only three things i liked about this film. One is that the new Godzilla design was cool. Two was the fight between Godzilla and Baragon that was one of the only few good fights in the Millennium series. And three Godzilla's beating heart at the end. So basically is id put the millennium series in order this would probably be my second favorite in Millennium. Basically its not Kanekos fault im mad at Toho for keep saying that Angurius wasn't profitably which who doesn't love Anguiurs but i can understand Varan though but still not Kaneko's fault.

...Most people here dislike GFW. And the vast majority of the Heisei films aren't exactly loved either. So I don't know where you're getting this.

Bottom-line, there is a lot of love for crappy films on this forum, and some of the better films attract a lot of negative comments. Its like Bizarro world.

I know, right? It's like some can't realize the fact how degrading it was for Godzilla to get webbed up in Mothra vs. Godzilla or how the Kiryu films took themselves too seriously or how GMK was just okay.

Forget GMK, forget the Kiryu films... you're damning Mothra vs. Godzilla just because Godzilla was wrapped up in silk at the end? The hell sense does that make?

Godzilla x Megaguirus was degrading, MvG did Godzilla far more justice than almost anything else coming afterwards.

Godzilla's a force of destruction, a tyrant and figure of power that is simply impossible to take down through other means of destruction. Tanks, bombs, missiles, guns, elctricity, fire, grenades, it's all useless. Even giant monsters fall to his might sooner or later. Silk isn't destructive, silk isn't even a real weapon, it's some sticky string. The fact that ANYTHING that powerful gets taken down by something that pathetic makes you angry. It's the same reason people don't like Heisei Zilla because missiles take him down and torpedoes injured him.
