Glad I am that someone else noticed the thread title was written by Yoda. I'm up for however long it takes to tell the story well. If that's 80 minutes, cool. If that's 150, that works too. No sense in dragging this thing out, but there's no sense in rushing through it either.

Exactly my feelings. I hope we get a long while still good movie (something between two to three hours) to give enough screentime for the monsters to enjoy. I relly hope it doesn't get rushed. That was the main probem with Legendary's "Clash of the Titans" remake. It woud have been a hell cooler movie if wasn't so completely rushed. It feels like they'd gone from important point to important point by teleportation and that distracted much froim the joy of the overall film. At least me personally and I don't want the new Godzilla suffering the same issue.

Hey, I gots hopes, too, but come on, it's coming out of Hollywood. I work with marketing types every day, and they all think alike. To make this movie sell tickets, it's going to be built to be just like something else that already sold tickets.

I'd like to see the next Mothra vs. Godzilla, but I know we'll get the next Immortals.
