A movie that brings King Ghidorah back to his traditional roots: a space dragon, a destroyer of planets, insane cackling and gravity bolts abound. All I ask.

Ghidorah's return could be something like this...

An asteroid is detected on collision course with Earth. While plans are made to blow the object out of the sky, the main characters receive a mysterious warning in a letter. It says that great destruction will come to earth if they hit the asteroid with nuclear arms. They track down this letter to an old woman, but she deosn't remember sending it. They warn the authorities, but the government pays little attention.

Meanwhile, Godzilla is seen near the shore of China. Intelligence finds that Godzilla is heading for southern Japan, following whales. Godzilla destroys the Japanese whaling fleet, and the navy goes into action.

One of the main characters is contacted again by the old woman. She insist they must stop the launch of the missile. She ask why, and the woman says " the dragon."

The navy fails to stop Godzilla, and he makes landfall. Godzilla's direction will take him by the silo launching the missile, so they decide to launch the projectile early. The missile is fired, and the asteroid blows up. An hour later, Ghidorah is raining gravity beams over northern Japan.

That's all I can think of for now, but it brings back the old Ghidorah.

How about a Godzilla hour long series that explains, or fills in all the continuity flaws of the movies. Based around a regular cast of Godzilla Corp members/ufo hunters training to deal with godzilla. Use the formula from The Kung Fu series,with flashbacks,explainations etc. and monster hunting on monster island.

Godzilla vs Drone : Based around a similar premise as Godzilla vs the Asuka Fortress was, the military is devising a weapon that is capable of ousting Godzilla off of Japanese Islands for good. Stunning breakthroughs and practiced sciences encompass a single new technology which the top minds of the Japanese Self Defense Force all unanimously agree is the best option: a drone kaiju, dubbed Drone 3. Drone has missile launchers attached to his back, beams from the eyes, and is able to fly. It is a humanoid, much like Ultraman or Zone Fighter. The set-up for control is simple; a single controller (who is put into a state of sleep) is attached to machines that pick up on his movements and feelings. The movements are then processed and sent to the Drone, who carries out the action. Within six months of the proposition, the first Drone is ready for action. Godzilla arrives in Osaka, with the usual act. The Drone intervenes, and the two titans clash. Drone 3 is nearly decimated by Godzilla's Atomic Ray though. Thus, it is back to the drawing board once more. Time is of the essence. Each minute that passes, Godzilla gets closer, his eyes set for all the major cities in Japan.

Drone 4 is in the first stages construction. The JSDF finds a way to deter Godzilla's ray. A counter ray, which is emulated from the hands is created with a simple flick of the wrist and is able to create a barrier strong enough to hold up against the ray for five seconds. In no time at all, Drone 4 is launched, this time with the partially fixed Drone 3. This is Japan's final attempt to stop the King of Monsters. If it fails, the country will fall. The world as we know it will come to a close. Together, they fight Godzilla once more, but on the outskirts of Tokyo. Humanity is at stake, and the lines are drawn. Who will win this epic battle?

Hows that? Sorry for no character development, it wasn't top priority for this.

This is something I wrote in December on how how I think the upcoming American film should be.

Basically, it's a Godzilla/Ghidorah story. It references only the 54 film. Ghidorah is purely an alien, while Godzilla matches more of his Heisei or 2000 incarnation.

My movie idea would be Godzilla vs. Titanosaurus.
The Godzilla would look like the showa era Godzilla. So first off deep down in the sea an underwater Atlantis-like civilization is found off the coast of Japan. There are ancient writings there about how much of a great civilization they were and of a giant monster that would protect them throughout the ages. Teams of archaeologists go down to take artifacts and study them. A few days later they find a giant temple. Just then they hear something inside the temple. A sleeping Titanosaurus awakens inside the temple and breaks out. The archaeologists attempt to get away but Titanosaurus swallows them whole. He then proceeds to Japan as revenge for awakening him from his slumber.

In my movie Titanosaurus has the same ability to cause high speed winds by moving his tail but also the ability to shoot crushing waves of water from his mouth. So he gets to Tokyo and wreaks havoc on the city. He shoots water at a building with so much force it starts to crumble. He destroys everything and everyone in his path. Then the scene flashes to a port where we see Anguirus watch in horror at what is happening and he goes back to monster island to warn Godzilla. As he leaves toward monster island we see the JSDF fight Titanosaurus.

Next as Titanosaurus is still wreaking havoc we hear the roar of Godzilla. Titanosaurus looks as the King of Monsters and Anguirus have come to the aid of Japan. They roar at each other until the 3 monsters start to brawl. It looks as if Titanosaurus has the edge as he throws Anguirus into the air and with his tail sends him flying into a building. Then he hits Godzilla with a water blast so hard it sends him to the ground reeling. While Titanosaurus is not paying attention Anguirus bites the back of his tail and Godzilla starts punching Titanosaurus. Titanosaurus tries to walk away but Godzilla shoots his atomic ray at the ground below Titanosaurus feet causing him to fall. But Titanosaurus tries one last attempt to defeat Godzilla and Anguirus by sending hurricane like winds in their direction. It causes Godzilla to stumble and it gives enough time for Titanosaurus to flee. Godzilla and Anguirus celebrate by roaring at each other and then return toward monster island.

^It's a good idea, but it's definitely a Showa era type film, and Toho probably won't ever go that route again.

Plot:
The people of earth are celebrating that the following date 12-12-21 is not the end of the world. But little did they know that humanity could be at the brink of extinction. Far away in space there was a Space Ship similar to there brothers, the Xillians but smaller. The other aliens where also Xillians. But stronger, Smarter, revived all the monsters godzilla killed, and have another monster army with them.
In 1995 the monster Destroyah was destroyed my humanity, But now he has REAWAKENED! This time he will make sure the world will pay for what they've done to him.
In 1994 before Destroyah has fallen Godzilla's telepathic evil twin SpaceGodzilla's soul was floating lifeless looking for his body. Later he finds it in Planet X burned. At last his soul found him. His soul gets inside him and Godzilla's, Arch Enemy has awakened! SpaceGodzilla will Stop it nothing to not only kidnap Minilla but to kill him and Godzilla himself.

The Rebirth of Kiryu
I'd like to Toho to actually go with the Kiryu movies, like to see what actually happened after Godzilla Tokyo SOS and the end credits. I'd like to see robotic clones of the past Toho kaiju.

Tokyo SOS ends - we are shown a vial containing Godzilla Cells

An ambitious scientist, on the payroll of a rogue government within Japan, takes possession of the G-Cells and, through the use of some cobbled together mish-mash of found alien technology, and advanced Earth-like technology, he begins the process of growing Godzilla embryo, each one held within a synthetic egg shell, with egg-ish stuff inside upon which they feed and grow.

After rapidly growing one of these to maturity, and unleashing it upon an unsuspecting public in some random Japanese city (to be determined if I ever decide to continue with this) the creature destroys and kills freely for an hour or so, before it expires and falls dead to the ground. This being a test, the monster was engineered with a limited life span.

The rampage is filmed from assorted camera vehicles (cars and trucks at ground level, helicopters and planes from the air) as well as from several rooftops in the city, the video feeds from which are streamed out across the internet, through a secure feed to various governments or shady-types, and the bidding commences as countries vie for ownership of their own Godzilla like creature.

Eventually, all of the "eggs" are sold (a total of ten which remain after the "test" monster), and are delivered to the assorted buyers, along with the equipment required to bring them to maturity and maintain control of their creature. At the end of all this, once the creatures are matured, there are ten Godzillas in the world.**

These "Godzillas" are unleashed in the theater of various existing wars, as well as set free upon the enemies of whatever country owns them. Mass destruction ensues (it looks really cool).

Unfortunately, beneath the ocean, the "real" Godzilla, having been taken to the bottom of the ocean by Kiryu in Tokyo: SOS, awakens, till held in the arms of its destroyer, and wrapped in the remnants of the Mothra Silk, and, after freeing itself, returns to the surface having been drawn back by the emergence of so many "relatives", in much the same manner as Godzilla recognizes Kiryu in Godzilla Against Mecha-Godzilla (and vice versa).

Of course, as this happens, all the other Godzillas are awakened to the presence of their progenitor and, breaking the shackles of control, all begin the varied treks from whatever point in the world they happen to be, back to Tokyo where Godzilla (the original) is waiting.

Unlike with Kiryu, however, these Godzillas do not "team-up" with Godzilla in an orgy of destruction, but instead, upon meeting in all the same place, are determined to wipe out all others and claim the throne as the Greatest Godzilla EVER, by destroying all others.

A huge fight between all the monsters ensues, and a whole lot of stuff is destroyed, people are killed, planes are crashed, cars are pooped on by pigeons...Basically, bad stuff for humans happens, until one Godzilla stands victorious.**

The End

** Each of the Godzillas is one of the previous incarnations seen throughout the years of Godzilla movies (54, 84, 91, etc) and the final victor has been previously decided through online voting held by Toho, not to be revealed until the actual movie is released.

It was, in fact, originally intended as a submission to Dark Horse Comics for their Godzilla series in the 90s, then revamped to include the Tokyo SOS ending and intended for submission to IDW, until I found out they don't take submissions, apparently, for anything.

Also, for the record, most of the posts prior to mine also sound like fan fantasy mash-ups, but that's where the fun is, right?

But how about a Godzilla and Mothra: The Battle For Earth prequal! It shows Battra and Mothra back when the Earth was young, and Battra destroying that weather control machine, and Mothra fighting Battra.

How's about "Return of The King" The story will betold in todays view of the past horror of Godzilla and how he came to be. Unfortunately due to scientific research and experiments in biological warfare new creatures are created each representing waring nations. Due to these creations the earth suffers incredible damage / disasters scarring the planet. The Japanese stand and watch until a distant relative of Dr Yumani explains that earth will not be able to last much longer due to disasters and ultimately will become unhabitable for all humans. The scientist then believe only the return of Godzilla can end the wars and destroy the maurading creatures from each nation. But Japan ultimately knows Godzilla will return to his homeland and again spread horror and devastation to the country. The format is set for further films and ultimately a face down with Japan's last hope who is called upon by the children of the world... Gamera?
