Rules: Akakabuto is scaled to 55 meters.
No interference.

Verdict: I honestly could see this go either way. Both are quite tough, and both can take huge amounts of punishment before going down. I wouldn't call out Akakabuto so easily, though. I mean, he had his eye torn out, he's mauled by a HELLUVA lotta dogs, and he took a direct shot from a rifle(in the heart?) I see Godzilla winning, but he's gonna have some very bad wounds, even with his regeneration.

What do you guys think?

Unless Godzilla manages to get through Akakabuto's freakish durability, then I wouldn't exactly say Godzilla would light him on fire. In fact, if Akakabuto was set on fire in the Ginga series, I wouldn't be suprised if he just ignored it.

You can't put a regular animal in a fight with a kaiju. There is no way that a bear is gonna be able to kill or knock out Godzilla. I don't care how durable the bear is, it's still a bear. Godzilla's Atomic Ray melted electrical towers and tanks without trouble.

Well, to be fair, Akakabuto did beat Madara with one hit. ONE hit. That's pretty impressive right there. Also, the fact that Akakabuto took a bullet through his eye and into his brain(I think) without dieing is pretty impressive as well. Scaled up to Showa size, Akakabuto would give Godzilla one hell of a fight.

Just because someone is shot in the head with a bullet, lived, and a bear killed them in one hit doesn't really show much. A bear sized up to around Godzilla's size still wouldn't be powerful enough to take on something as powerful as Godzilla and be victor in the fight. I think Godzilla wins 10/10 of the time in this match, not because I am a fan of Godzilla, but because Godzilla could very easily defeat something as ordinary as that.

I think that Godzilla would win this as well. His atomic ray gives him a good advantage, and I don't know what Akakabuto could do to avoid it. From what the description said, I can tell that Akakabuto must be strong and fights till the death. The bear might have brute strength on his side, but Godzilla is not going to have too much of a problem with him. It would be better if this was Anguirus Vs. Akakabuto in my opinion, but let's not go off-topic.

I just don't see how Godzilla can win this easily. Knowing Akakabuto, Godzilla's gonna be seriously messed up in close-combat. His Atomic Ray is the tool that grants him victory here, but the trouble is, Godzilla doesn't use it that much anyway, a mistake he'll learn the hard way. Akakabuto is a very vicious fighter, and his blows can be crippling. For proof are these videos showing Akakabuto's power:

The fight

From what I see here Akakabuto is nothing but a Gabara tier "kaiju". Godzilla will have a blast in this. Akakabuto took a bullet to the eye? Godzilla took 5 revolver missiles capable of uplifting a city block down the throat. The bear is nothing special in the world of kaiju.

... mmm, yeah, I have to agree with you on that. Maybe if it were 62 Godzilla this fight would be a little more even, but now that I think about it, I guess 73 Godzilla would win this kinda easily. I'll make a better Akakabuto vs FM soon, sorry.
