Godzillasaurus didn't exist until the 90s. At least within the Toho universe.
Try 1940's within that timeline.

That is not Minya's mother. That is a recycled Godzilla suit used in another movie, can't remember what one.

It was from the original Ultraman tv show. Watching that scene on youtube still gives me a chuckle, especially when Ultraman and "Jirass" are trying to impress each other by blowing up rocks in the air.

This is one thing I love about the Showa series, and I don't mean this sarcastically: if something isn't immediately relevant to the story or characters of the movie, they just don't bother to explain it. It's a giant skreeonk egg with a Godzilla-ish baby monster inside, that's all the characters and the audience need to know, so that's all we're ever told! The guys on the island have no explanation for it, and mom never shows up, so the movie doesn't really waste any more time on it. It makes the movies efficient and it gives the viewer something to wonder about after the movie's over.
The same mentality seems to apply to monsters changing size and coming back from the dead between movies. Love it. This air of mystery doesn't seem to exist so much anymore in modern fantasy and sci-fi movies.
Also, you might want to edit the thread title... as it reads now it looks like you're asking who boned Minya! You want "laid" instead of "layed." ...and even then you might want to change it to "Minya's egg" instead of just "Minya."
