The only reason that Destoroyah coughed up blood then was not because the "floral pattern" (*sigh*) was open. It did that much damage because Godzilla fired his beam three times in the same spot. Fire the same beam three times in the same area on any kaiju and you'll get roughly the same result.

Also, the battle between Destroyah and Godzilla was basically two huge fatasses standing relatively still spamming beams at easy targets. Let's see how Destroyah fares against two far more agile opponents who can run and leap around him without thunder thighs and big tails weighing them down and arms that are fully mobile. These two could run circles around him while beating and blasting the living shit out of him.

Yet the most important "big bad" monsters in the series could easily go toe-to-toe (or even beat) many of the even the strongest Toho monsters.

That makes him stronger than Zetton/KJB? Backhanding Goji to the ground?

King Joe Black- a weaker version- backhanded Gomora and sent him flying over massive distances. Goora himself had many insane strength feats. Dessy's basically involved him punting people much smaller than him. Zetton is in roughly the same strength class.

And you say KJB's firepower is overrated- what then, has Dessie's firepower done? King Joe Blacks' rifle has killed tons of monsters, Dessy killed one baby.

King Joe's cannon killed a bunch of low tier kaiju. If they had killed something stronger that'd be a different story.
