That doesn't impress me in the way that EX Gomora impresses me. Godzilla was only able to do that because he was basically about to drop dead. EX Gomora, meanwhile, isn't a one-time power-up form of Gomora that only happens when the monster is about to die.

It kicks in right before he's about to die though. It's the equivalent of turning into Imago Mothra in Godzilla Save The Earth when you're in the red as Mothra.

The first time Rei and Gomora transformed was in Ultra Galaxy ep. 13, where they HAD been pushed to the edge. But that was the only time it happened.

In Ultra Galaxy NEO, both Gomora and Redking transformed while Armored Darkness was recovering from the Space Pendragon's Pedanium Launcher. They were losing the battle, sure, but they certainly werent "pushed to the brink of death."

And in Ultra Galaxy Legends the Movie, Rei and Gomora transformed once more to aid the Ultramen in assaulting Beryudora (in retrospect, shouldnt it be "Belialdora?" lol). Once again, they were losing, but were NOT "pushed to the brink of death."

So there you have it.

I'm not clinging to anything and I'm not making an argument, as I said, I'M CURIOUS as to how Rei would survive the heat, IF he's even present at the battle site.

But Rei isnt a combatant. The monsters are fighting, not him. Rei is only "there" because the EX transformation requires his initial input.

And no, Rei being injured or killed would not affect Gomora, or vice-versa. This isnt a Reionyx battle. Only during a declared Reionxy Battle would Rei feel Gomora's pain.

Rei being affected by the heat is a moot point.
