The Showa fights are fun and energetic, it truly has the best fights. Picking my top 3 is easy.

1. DESTROY ALL MONSTERS: Final fight

That battle is my favorite fight in the whole FRANCHISE. It's the definition of 'final fight.' Not to mention the fantastic score playing throughout it.

2. TERROR OF MECHAGODZILLA: Godzilla vs. Titanosaurus and Mechagodzilla

Gritty, Showa wrestling at its best. Some really good punches, kicks, and tackles.

3. MONSTER ZERO: Final fight

I LOVE the tag team of Godzilla and Rodan. I really like the the teamwork when Rodan picked up Godzilla to tackle Ghidorah.

Honorable mentions: Kumonga vs. Godzilla, Rodan vs. Godzilla, Ghidorah vs. Mothra, Rodan, and Godzilla, Gigan and Ghidorah vs. Godzilla and Anguirus, and Anguirus vs. Mechagodzilla.

I liked the final battle in DAM, the movie dragged on way too much, but the end battle between the Earth monsters and King Ghidorah was ok.

If Godzilla had done a full-on TACKLE a'la Monster Zero (which always makes me utter an involuntary "#$@&% YEAH!!!") in that movie, it would be PERFECT.

I think it was funny how he got his ass kicked in Ghidorah, The Three Headed Monster by Godzilla, Rodan, and Mothra. Still got his ass kicked by Godzilla and Rodan in Godzilla vs. Monster Zero. Then finally in Destroy All Monsters he went up against not only Godzilla, Rodan, and Mothra again, but also 7 other monsters! And we all know what happend to him in DAM!

Wow, Ghidorah got beat first by 3 other monsters, then 2 other mother monsters, I wonder if he thought at first if it was a good idea to try 10?
