I really don't like how they're doing that. None of those are remotely close to me either.

I like all the zelda games equal but skyward sword sticks out to me.
It has a great story great characters and this was the first time i wanted to beat the game to save zelda.
normally i would want to beat the game just to complete it.

Ghirahim is a great villain although not that serious but i like him more then ganon.

and groose..........How the skreeonk dit he get so popular oh well he is cool though.

I am now playing OOT great game but IMO it falls flat in comparison with skyward sword

It's the first ever 3D Zelda, which came out nearly 14 years ago. The game is probably older than you are. What exactly were you expecting?

OCARINA may not seem as "grand" these days, but it's still one of the best games ever made, from a design stand point. I don't see how it "falls flat" at all, actually.

I don't see how anyone thinks OOT is boring? That game always been a total blast to play and love it since 1998.

What i meant was in this game i really wanted to save zelda in the other games I didn't fell a connection other than link but in Sky ward sword I really felt bad for the characters if something bad happened (spelling)
I never had such emotions in other games.

and groose..........How the skreeonk dit he get so popular oh well he is cool though.

uuuuh i looked groose up and so many people where saying ''he was better than link''

I worded it wrong and no it doesn't fall flat it is stupid that I said that it is actually a great game and i am really enjoying it.
I guess I wanted to say that i like skyward sword more. I'm just stoopid
oh btw im 16 and ocarina has a nostalgia factor for me it was my first ever zelda game i love it i just like skyward sword more

You're not stupid dude, I just was wondering why you felt that it "fell flat".

Skyward Sword was indeed fantastic.

LIVE, DAMN YOU!

Started playing Majora's Mask last night since I really have the time. I actually went into the town instead of just talking to the mask salesman.

Holy crap I was a stupid child  When I rented it, I would shoot the Skull Kid with my bubble and get the Ocarina... And I didn't know what to do after that. I just wandered around the town aimlessly.

Not ONCE did I go back to the salesman after I got the Ocarina.

Anyway, I have three masks now. Hopefully it starts picking up soon!

Huh. We have a Zelda thread.

Currently alternating between Ocarina of Time 3D and the linked version of Oracle of Ages. I'd already played a little bit of the regular Oracle of Ages, so I'm not in any new ground or anything, but it's still fun so far.

And with Seasons under my belt, that makes three Zelda games I've beaten, which is... kinda pitiful. Minish Cap, Phantom Hourglass, and Seasons. I got about halfway through the original game before ragequitting.

Don't feel bad, I'm at 3 games, too. Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, and Skyward Sword, all of which are fantastic.

I'm past the first dungeon in Majora's Mask and got the pig mask. Ohhhhh boy, this should be fun.

They can just get so frustrating. Nintendo Hard indeed.

I hated the last dungeon in Seasons. Ice dungeons can kiss my ass. Onox was hard to beat, too.

I remember playing Minish Cap, when you had to get to Vaati in under a certain amount of time or you had to restart... And if you lost to Vaati, you had to go back to before that portion. Ugh.

I'm at the sand ship on skyward sword. Left off there back in january and just have not had any drive to pick it up and play it again. Oh and on the topic of beaten Zelda games. I think seasons(it's been skreeonk ages since I've played it), Links awakening,Wind Waker,Ocarina of time, A link to the past. I know I played ages, but not sure if I beat it or not.
Apparently SWTOR said that I can invite 25 people for a 7 day trial of the game. PM me if interested.

Bret, the game tends to just stall at that point, but I think it's worth it to keep going. I wanted to just say screw it and enjoy what I had played, but I'm glad I finished.

How does it stall? That's one of the coolest designed dungeons in the game.

I'm at the same point but for a different reason. I only play it when one of my friends is over, because he loves the Zelda series but is too lame to buy a Wii and play the newest ones. Luckily I have plenty of other games to enjoy in between sessions. I honestly have enjoyed it more by playing it over a prolonged period of time rather than in a couple huge sessions.

I'm planning on purchassing a Nintendo Wii, and "Twilight Princess" is the game that interests me the most, to the point it may be the reason I want to get the console. I know it was a big thing back when it came out six years ago, but I wonder if it has aged well, being also a game for the GameCube, and considering there is "Skyward Sword", wich seems to have been also very well received. I'm kind of seduced by the fact that it is related to "Ocarina of Time" and "Majora's Mask" (The latter is one of my favourite games ever). So, does anyone have an opinion on the matter? Am I too far behind?

Also, I don't know if it was mentioned before, but there is a fan project about a "Majora's Mask" opera in development: http://majoraopera.wordpress.com/

It won't include Link (Please don't ask that to the guy behind the project because he is sick tired of answering that question), it will instead center around Kafei's story.

Twilight Princess is a very good game, but the replay value is next to none. Pretty sure it's the first Zelda game I ever got every heart piece in. Skyward Sword however is the Wii Zelda to own. Both are great games, so really I'd just get both.

Thank you. Though now that I think of it, I heard that you need an improved control for Skyward Sword, wich I think its sold separately, so maybe I should give priority to Twilight Princess at least at first.

By the way, has anyone played 'Link's Crossbow Training', wich requires the Wii Zapper? Seems like fun.

Glad I could be of help, but yes if you don't wanna buy a Wii Motion+ right away then Twilight princess is the way to go.

It actually really is kinda fun, I enjoyed it at least, it's the only Wii Zapper game I actually ended up having too.
