The Other Guys
Comedy starring Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg, as two looked down upon cops trying to get to the bottom of a huge case.
Not Will Ferrell's best effort, but pretty funny in my opinion.
Cookie Quality: 3 cookies out of 5.

Vanity Fair
Drama starring Reese Witherspoon as Becky Sharp who is determined to make a name for herself in early 1800's London.
Not as true to the original story as I would of liked, but still a decent movie.
Cookie Quality: 2.5 cookies out of 5.

This Means Wars: Saw it with the lady friend. Overall, it's an okay movie. I didn't feel like it was as developed as it could've been, and the bad guy (Heinrich) was secondary, which makes sense, but his character seems more like a lazy throw-in more than someone who is relevant to the plot. There were a few good scenes, but I wouldn't recommend it. Sub par, definitely. I give it two broken parachutes out of five.

Snowbeast- Not bad for a 70's tv monster flick. Some scenes are hard to follow, but it's very entertaining, although you never do get a good look at the beast beyond it's face and paws.

It's not really that much of a different story, it has some different scenes and doesn't have Raymond Burr or Dr Pepper.

It's much better without the stupid Raymond Burr scenes and editing.

Watching G85 and comparing it to RoG ... let's look at the differences in feel...

Russians are nuke-crazy mindless idiots.
Japanese doesnt look like a weak pissy little country.
Burr isnt it in ham-fisting a story in that makes no sense.
Longer opening scene in RoG has more tension then G85.
Removal of the US scenes makes the Supaa X scene flow better.

G85 is an American film. It's like how America takes anything foreign like Big Brother, Millionaire, Being Human, Top Gear, and tries to Americanize it - and ruining it. G85 is boring in most areas and hard to watch. RoG flows better, has a clearer plot and shows IMHO a more responsible US and USSR.

Last movie I watched was the 2009 version of Children of the Corn. I really like this one, almost more than the original, definitely more than the rest of the franchise, although I did enjoy Isaac's Return a lot.

Also, I guess in response to the comments above, I wish people would word their complaints about the American cuts of Gojira and Godzilla Returns differently. They always make it sound like the bad decisions were Burr's fault, not the writers', editors', or producers'.

20,000 Leagues Under the Sea: Wow. I was really impressed by this movie. Sure it dragged for a little bit, but it was everything I imagined it would be. And coming from Disney, it was pretty dark. Definitely check it out, if possible. I give it four and a half horrible shots at Captain Nemo out of an attempted five.

Moon of the Wolf- An early 70's tv film, and it had some decent concepts but overall it wasn't too good. It takes 40 minutes for this film to even start looking like a werewolf movie. The ending wasn't too shabby, but not very original.

Night Train to Terror- If it wasn't for all the gore and the nudity, this would have been a nice film to see on MST3K. The plot makes no sense. Apparently God and Satan are on a train with a bunch of rock 'n roll kids deciding their fates while watching clips from other movies. Bit of a anthology filled with horribly edited scenes.

Fritz Lang's M - Normally when my class watches the standard theme'd moved every week (this week it was German Expressionism), everyone chit-chats a bit then takes off because it's the last class of the day. After M everyone sat around for a while just absorbing it. It's a powerful and heavy piece of work. Incredible, but still would have rather watched Metropolis.

Devil's Nightmare- Interesting film, drags itself on a little but it's enjoyable. Bit too seductive for my taste. Death scenes were nice.

Chupacabra Terror- Not one of Sci-Fi's worst. It has some good scenes in it, and the monster was overall very fine, but the characters were meh.

Frankenfish- Another decent one. The creature was interesting and the ending was swell. I enjoyed this one very much.

The Roommate: Definitely not watching this movie again. I watched with my sister and her friends, and we all found it to be pretty stupid. Sure the roommate is creepy and insane, but it's not like she is a force to be reckoned with. Anyone could have laid down the law on her, even the main character. The one thing that you do see is how the roommate is bisexual, but that's all.

Rio: Not too bad for an animated picture made lately that's not Pixar. The scenery and character designs are beautiful in this movie, and the music isn't so bad either. The plot isn't very original though.

Might watch the MST3K version of Monster A Go-Go before I watch The Grey.

Ghost rider SOV- Im guessing the movie starts a couple years after the first one. The first scene has horrible camera action, im not a fan of the close up fight scenes. Im not going to go into details on some scenes but i will break it down like this. Ghost riders new design is really good, chracters are forgetable, and fight scenes are well done. Nicolas cage as johnny blaze is horrendous, he might as well just stay as Big daddy in kick ass.

Overall 1/5

I'll probably never watch that again either. I've characterized it as a high school girl's horror movie, if that makes sense. There's nothing wrong with that, but it was not a well executed movie.

Chronicle:
I liked it. It was a nice, realistic take on what would happen if superpowers appeared suddenly and mysteriously (i.e. total shit storm). One of the more well done 'found footage' films I've seen, and I enjoyed some of the little touches, like how their flight is still kinda jerky and clumsy. I just didn't like the main character though. Maybe that was intentional, but I didn't even find him sympathetic at all. *shrug* Still, fun movie.
