I don't exactly see any damage in this picture. Was the ground burned? Did we see a burning trench? All I see is an explosion of light.

Give us a screen capture of what happens after Heisei Godzilla's normal blue ray hits another monster. That would make these comparisons easier to digest. It's no coincidence energy beams generate smaller explosions whenever they hit other monsters.

Random thought, who would be more likely to lead an army of evil monsters and who would be more likely to just butcher them instead?

My apologizes, I should not have said "damage". What I should have said was something more along the lines of "Here's the size of the explosion" or "Here's what the beam does".

Spacegodzilla would probably just butcher them, same with Destoroyah. The only difference would be Destoroyah's butchery would be more painful.

There is no rule that says Godzilla's red ray is more powerful than Godzilla's blue ray.

The rule that Godzilla has a blue ray and has to undergo a power up in every movie to get a red ray.

Why would Spacegodzilla kill an entire army of kaiju loyal to him? :?

I don't know man. Spacegodzilla seems like to me he would lead some for a short while if it means securing more power and it'd would benefit him to use them against Earth's monsters. And Destroyah loves creating chaos so if he can resist killing them long enough he might team up with them if it means creating more death and destruction on a much grander scale.

But I do agree that eventually they would both get tired of the charade and butcher everyone else, though I imagine Destroyah would turn on his former allies more quickly.

...That's only true for Godzilla vs. MechaGodzilla II and Godzilla vs. Space Godzilla. It's not true for Godzilla vs. Destoroyah.

Technically, Destoroyah is an army of monsters. He is after all a walking, giant microbe colony. :P

I can't see either kaiju leading an army of monsters. If I had to choose, SpaceGodzilla would be the best candidate, given his genetic heritage. Heisei Godzilla emphasized with humans and other monsters, so there's a small chance SpaceGodzilla could likewise do the same. He's intelligent enough to use an army of monsters to his advantage if the situation called for it.

Destoroyah couldn't lead an army of monsters to save his life. If Destoroyah somehow found himself leading an army of monsters, I'd suspect it'd be only because he was luring them out to sea, where he'd asphyxiate and dissolve them into nothing.

Im sorry, but if an entire army walked up to you and said "We will obey your every command"

Would you be like "No, you must die!" or "Hell yeah, lets go kill shit!"?

By the way you describe his "sadism" you make Spacegodzilla sound stupid in the fact that he would kill off such a signifigant strategic asset, completely contradicting what people say about his supposed "high" intelligence.

Spacegodzilla did capture Little Godzilla.

Now he might have killed him after beating Godzilla but there's always the chance he would raise (READ: brainwash him) to be his Loyal bodyguard.

I think SG has potential to be really smart, he seemed quite average in the film. If he comes back in a new film, I could see him using his psychic capabilities to try and communicate with mankind.

A dropped idea in GU was that you're monster would hear a voice saying "destroy this" "Destroy that".

I think you can guess who.

Another thing that should be considered, are the kaiju Bloodlusted? That could make a huge diffrence in the outcome.

Well the thing is, that would never happen. An "army" of kaiju would most likely attack SG head on, not ask him to lead them. Kaiju just aren't that smart.

I wouldn't say that exactly, save for Destoroyah. I'd say most kaiju are just really aggressive.

Im gonna cite Arbiter Ripa Moramee as an example. In Halo Wars, Ripa is much like Spacegodzilla who fights to cause extreme pain rather than to kill, and ultimately this lead to his demise over what would otherwise have been an easy kill. If Ripa was Bloodlusted, he'd throw his cocky nature out the window and do everything in his power to kill his enemy, as the link above states. (That and the fact that hes psychotically violent by default)

If both Kaiju where Bloodlusted, I'd say Destroyah would utilize his abilities to a much deadlier effect. No torso shots with the laser horn.

Nah. It just means KILL KILL KILL!

Sadists are worse. They want you to live as long as possible to experience every moment of you're slow demise.

^ Which can also be used against them, as I stated in my example. Ripa lost because of his cocky nature, which resulted in him getting stabbed in the throat with a knife then impailed with his own Energy Sword.
