DKC2 took place before Donkey Kong 64, so DK could have got stronger since then from what I can remember.

The bolded are complete nonsense, you're basically saying they can't be hurt.

I did not, I said injury did happen, but a high resistance to pain is present. As for intellect, either a character can or can't defeat someone, it's very simple really.
Yet he helped sink an island in Donkey Kong 64.

When was this? Are you thinking K.Lunky?

In one of the side missions to get a banana, he sinks an island. Or I could be thinking K.Lumsy... Its been, what... eight years since I touched my N64.

You don't need a FM for something so simple then!

Maybe someone has a hard time on really deciding or wants to make an interesting match up.

You just said either a character can or cannot defeat someone, so it should be that simple. No need for an FM, I'm just using what you're saying.

There's litterally, over 1000 UltraKaiju you can choose from, all the Toho kaiju, Zone-Kaiju, Inframan kaiju, Yatterman Mechs, and what not. Wait till we've done every combination and then do videogame kaiju.

Only if it really has to come down to that, the FMs are made to be FUN, some of us want to make matches just because they seem interesting.

I refuse to wait.

Than it's their loss, not mine. Some of us don't even care for replies sometimes.

Then do us all a favor and don't bother posting the matches to begin with.

You should know if it's obscure and people probably won't know what the hell it is

That's why stats are there, so people can look at them. That's why we have rule 4.

Maybe. Only for certain video game characters that have not broken the laws of reality or ever broke cononical timelines. For instance, Master Chief, Cloud Strife, and Solid Snake are all perfectly okay combatants, since they still fight within the laws of physics (almost) and stay within their own timeline. However, Solid Snake from Super Smash Brothers Brawl or Cloud from Dissidia Final Fantasy (both are fighting games) would not work, since they break the canonical timeline (otherwise, Snake can apparently survive getting roasted by Thunderbolt, when electrotorture nearly killed him in the games)

However, stuff such as characters from Godzilla Unleashed would never work, especially if pitted against characters from the actual movies. Why? Because their abilities completely bend the canonical reality of the movies. Case in point, Megaguirus from Unleashed can take several fully-charged hits from Godzilla's blast and still live. Megaguirus from the movies got fatally injured with one blast. So how the hell will we know what will happen when video game monster attack/get attacked by their movie-based combatants?

You should know by now that no one cares about those random-ass obscure monsters except you. And don't even try that "I'm trying give them more exposure so they aren't lost to the sands of time!" crap. Because that's not going to make people care any more.

Than too bad for them.

Base it on what the video game characters can stand up to and what they can't, duh.

I pretty much agree with all of this. If we can manage to make certain video game characters work within the normal boundaries of the FMs, then it should be fine. However if their abilities and powers can't be measured then they shouldn't be allowed.

I abstained from voting for now. Is there a deadline on this poll?
