Nostalgia

This thread is for you to talk about those things that hold a special place in your heart. When you see them/play them, it's like reliving the past. It can be a place, a game, a movie...anything! Discuss!

Sonic Adventure 2: Battle ~ This is the game I could play with anybody, and it never got old for me. I actually played a few levels in it a couple days ago.

The Legend of Zelda: Links Awakening ~ My first Zelda game EVER! Got me hooked on the series.

Rugrats ~ Always watched this show as a kid, in fact I should watch some on Netflix one of these days.

For me:
• My Super Nintendo, N64, and even my GameCube (Pokemon XD edition). The games and everything bring back so many memories. I love it, truly. Even if that sounds nerdy and stuff, it's true.

• DisneyWorld: I've been there eight times now (in sixteen years). I can't even begi to describe the feeling. Maybe it's just nostalgia heaven and I should grow up, but...I love it. Plus this last time we stayed at Pop Century Resort in DisneyWorld and had free food. It was incredibly convenient.

Godzilla movies (especially Godzilla 2000), Pokemon, N64, Zelda. Basically anything I was introduced to by my dad. He died when I was 12 so anything that reminds me of stuff we did together gets me totally nostalgic. lol

Like my brother and I used to hang out at his electronics repair shop during the summers (he was a licensed Nintendo repairman, back when they had those, so he got free test consoles and games and stuff all the time) and play Duck Hunt on NES and later on games on N64, Game Boy, etc. So pretty much anything Nintendo is awesome to me. I'm biased. lol
