That would be interesting, but knowing Akuma, possibly within the next cinematic trailer, most likely he will either be fighting Orge, or at the end of the trailer, be challenged by him then leave things off with a epic cliffhanger.
Why I say this is mostly simple. You see, Orge is the Fighting God, or "The Aztec God of Fighting". Like Akuma, Orge seeks out strong opponents to test his strength and grow in power. Now, why I say that most likely he and Akuma will be fighting each other is because when Orge has found a powerful fighter, he wants to absorb that fighter's soul and obtain all of that fighter's abilities and power. That's how he grows stronger.
So the possibility of them being partners is pretty slim. However, since they are somewhat similar to one another, then they might be.
ALSO!Some fans seem to be happy, or freaked out about this:
Akuma has Misogi, is that move really that troubling and strong? I'm not sure what SF game had this, but some people recall it and find it troublesome.
Also, news on Jin. (Anyone who wants Devil Jin, or wanted him, listen up):It seems that Devil Jin will NOT be a separate character (Which is sad to most Devil Jin fans who enjoyed playing the character as his own entity). BUT! Devil Jin will be a transformation for Jin within the game. For some who might have a tough time seeing this, some fans suggest to think of Gen from Marvel vs. Capcom and how she can transform into Phoenix during the game.
Upon Jin's move-list "Mental Alertness" is when he turns into Devil Jin. Also, Devil Beam is Jin's Super Arts (Aka Ultra), so with that in mind, along with the fact that Jin's character art has a lot of black feathers. I believe that it's safe to say that Devil Jin will play a decently huge part when playing as Jin.
So Devil Jin fans, or people who enjoy playing as Devil Jin. He's confirmed playable within the game. He just isn't a separate character is all.
