Okay, so.

THE TERRORMISU is another fake trailer (a la OGGRA) that we produced for a contest on Vimeo (which we lost, unfortunately). It is, as the title and image might suggest, about a giant, rampaging slice of Tiramisu. The contest version is online and you can watch it if you know where to look but I've avoided publicizing it because we're working on an extended final cut and I don't expect people to watch it twice even with that in mind. I'd rather wait to finish the final cut and THEN whore it out.

In the meantime, here is a clearer shot of the titular monster:

OKAY SO. I'm making the Weekend Project version of THE TERRORMISU public! There will be a longer director's cut later on down the line but it's taking longer to finish than I expected and at this point it's going to be plenty unique enough to justify having two versions of the short online. So here's the current version! Enjoy it and SPAM THE HELL OUT OF IT. EVERYWHERE.

By the way, if anyone has any suggestions for puns we can add to the extended cut (which I'd like to get to work on very soon), please feel free to share them!

Speaking of, I think this cut will be called "TERRORMISU: The Director's Slice." XD

I've been experimenting with color correction in AfterEffects and toying with the idea of releasing "TERRORMISU: The Director's Slice" in color to further distinguish it from OGGRA! and the original Weekend Project cut. Any thoughts?



Mind you, I'm not saying a final color version would look precisely like THIS, this is just one of many possibilities.

In just a couple of hours, The TERRORMISU! will have its big screen premiere in front of a 35mm print of Godzilla Vs. Megalon at Atlanta's Plaza Theater! OGGRA will be playing along with it as well. I am super excite. ^^

EDIT: Alas, it seems I spoke too soon! They can't do digital projection tonight. On the upside, Ultraman Sorta has been invited to appear in the pre-film live show!

Well things wound up changing at the last minute AGAIN! XD

About forty minutes before the late-night screening of MEGALON, the opportunity to screen my work came up once more and this time (with a LOT of luck) it went off without a hitch! OGGRA and TERRORMISU screened in front of an audience of a couple hundred and was received with thunderous applause!

It was an AWESOME night!

I say this because I know it will never happen BUT: If THE TERRORMISU gets 10,000 views before the year is out, Lobsterdance will make it into an actual movie before I move to Japan.

Bonus points: Our producer will kill me if it actually happens!
