I think he means that Spider-man story where the whole world went back in-time thanks to Mestphio.

It's just become apparent to me that stories in Marvel will never have permanent consequences, and that worrying about characters or even creating tension will never exits because of it. Character's will never advance and will always be reverted back to the state they were in when they were most profitable. The Spider-man thing was one, but the fact that Cable and the Human Torch could barely go a year before being resurrected was enough to make me give up.

On the Cable issue, those who've picked up AVENGERS:THE X-SANCTION, know that Nathaneil Summers Dayspring's return from the great beyond is only a temporary reprieve. Top it off, he only has about a day and some change to save Hope by knocking off the Avengers before the techno-virus Apocalypse infected him with since he was in single digits, is overtaking his body. And with this little thing...

..starting up over over Hope's involvement in the return of the Pheonix-Force to Earth. :freak: It looks like Cable failed in his mission. Which brings us to this preview.>http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=preview&id=11423

Also, speaking of Earth's Mightiest Heroes, April also sees AVENGERS ASSEMBLE ! , hit the stands courtesy of the creative team of Brian Micheal Bendis and Mark Bagley of UltimateSpider-Man fame. The book will feature just in time for the Joss Whedon directed epic slamming into the cineplexes this spring/summer, the Avengers line up featured in the flick.

Maybe, it's kinda hard to know what a comic shop has before actually going and looking.

You can find gems in a weird places.

Considering that is a monumental and historical issue, any Comic Shop worth their salt wouldn't have that filed away in a grubby cardboard box. It'd be in a glass display case and not for sale.

It's going to depend on the CGC grading.

You might for a non-CGC graded book for a better price ($100-$200) but once you get into CGC grading youre looking at $500+.

Then you have to look out for retouched issues or counterfiets.

AVX is going to be great, but whatever happened to the Age of Ultron? It hasn't been mentioned in awhile.

THE ULTRON WAR according to writer Brian Bendis is ready to go ,with Brian Hitch's art completed to boot. So I think we're going to hit with this mini-event aroound late summer.

For some reason my desire for AvsX has dropped alot lately. Im getting this Civil War vibe and CW was hugely overhyped and overrated.

Well, the arts by John Romita Jr., so....I can't wait!!
Also, it isnt my Mark Millar, so I'm a bit more positive for AvX.

Ok, cutting my 'break' a bit short. John Romita Jr IMHO is passed his prime. The Heroic Age comics had IMHO some of the worst artwork Ive seen since 1984. Look at Thor, Iron Man and OMG Spidey:

Now look at him in his prime:
