Actually the Tumbler would fare very well against Godzilla.
Every film should have at least one animal attack.

Yeah, but the Joker is awesome. Somebody else shooting such a weapon might have had different results.

The results would have been the same. Because it was an RPG. They're made to destroy tanks.

Joker is just a human, there is nothing amazing about him. Remove the makeup and insanity and you see there's not much going for him other then maybe above average intelligence.

Not to further diverge the thread, but things need to be seen from a storytelling perspective. Batman's vehicle being destroyed by the bad guy is what that scene is about. The means that make it happen could swap, but the concept would remain the same. It's very similar to Burton's Batman, that has Joker gunning down the Batwing with a single shot.

......

It's an RPG. Doesn't matter if it was Joker or Two-Face or some nameless minion holding it cause at the end of the day, it's still an RPG.

It's what the plot required at the moment.

If an RPG can destroy it then so can Godzilla's foot.

Not if the story demands a different outcome.

I think the Tumbler looks great for going "crunch".

It's mind-boggling as to why. Sounds like shit AH would stir up.

What could the tumbler do to Goji that a mazer can't? Furthermore, why do you think the tumbler could withstand thousands of tons of pressure?

...*sigh*

You know, when Alfred said that some men just want to watch the world burn, he didn't literally mean it like that.

Also, if the Joker would want to destroy the world (which he never would), he would want to do it with his own hands, not by the hands of Godzilla.

You people are nuts.

Think about what a Batman vs Godzilla movie - made by TOHO - would have been like in the early-to-mid '60s. All the asinine, over the top nonsense that people keep talking about here seems more akin to a late '60s or 1970's Toho film. Not something that would have been cut from the same cloth as KKvsG, Mothra vs Godzilla, Mothra, Ghidrah, Gorath or Atragon.
