I'm just saying a writer can call for water to be used as a weapon. When you get down to it writing a movie script is like writing a fan fic. Difference is script writers get paid and their work get's turned into movies and games.

Hey if a guy can write "Rain uses a high pressure stream of water to cut off someones head" as an idea for a fatality in a Mortal Kombat game then I'm sure whoever wrote the Godman scripts can get away with having Godman push monsters away with water in the show.
