Let me know if the monsters at 2:02 and 2:36 look familiar. Yikes, talk about DAM '78...

It was just for kids, I think. Those suits are in such terrible condition that they're almost unrecognizable.

Well, it is about of the Toho Canon. It is something they've created.

However, claiming that Godman and the Showa are of the same chronological canon is like claiming A Midsummer Night's Dream and The Tempest are within the same chronological canon. Yes, the two are a part of Shakespeare's Canon, but they are not (as far as we know of) of the same timeline or universe.

Were talking about the same company that made (some of) the Showa films canon with the Kiryu Duo-logy. ;)

I can see and understand the logic behind that decision.

But Godman? I don't see any logic in making that canon with anything.

It's almost a shame seeing Gabara and Gorosaurus slumming it in such horrible condition. It's like seeing one of your favorite actors in some Z-grade movie nobody's ever heard of. :P

It's like that one episode of the original Ultraman where Ultraman put out an oil refinery fire buy shooting water out his fingertips.

Still, there is a mighty big difference between putting out a fire with water and spraying a monster with water. Unless A. It's like Barugon and has a weakness to water or B. It is actually hydrochloric acid, it's not going to do anything.

There is a big difference between that and what Godman was doing.
