VERDICT:

Both combatants gave their opponents a run for their money. King Kong is Godzilla's equal when it comes to melee. Gomora was able to tank Ultraman's barrage of attacks, from melee to his Specium Beam. I see these two wrestling each other to the ground and basically beating the shit out of each other. Kong may be able to rip off Gomora's tail. If he does it may distract him long enough for Gomora to get a few shots in.

Both monsters are excellent melee fighters. Gomora's tail gives him a distance advantage, but if Kong gets close and personal, Gomora is going to be pummeled. I'm undecided.
