So yeah, Two years of saying no to current hulk not bad really.

Well, the past 20 issues of hulk have been under Jeff Parker, and he's one of my favorite writers.
Also, who else here likes AGENTS OF ATLAS? I love those guys!

Yes but Rulk is still apart of the book. :(

And in other news after 8 years of terror and bad writing, Bendis will be OFF the avengers titles next year! :D This is awesome!

Read Venom # 9. VERY good; Remender knows how to write a story; and the art is fantastic.

Anyway, who are your favorite current Marvel writers/artists?
Here's mine:
Writers-Jeff Parker, Rick Remender
Artists-Ed Mcguiness, Leinil Francis YU, the artist for Spider-Island Venom, etc.

I was shock to hear the news when I came home from work and I hated to see a great person pass away.

So Im just about to hit the Realm of Kings TPB and Im really looking forward to it. I read all the Nova and Guardians of the Galaxy titles upto it and I see why Nova was canceled. It seems unless Nova is fighting some universe destroying power, they writers dont seem to know what to do with a character on the same level of power as perhaps early 90s Silver Surger. Guardians of the Galaxy is worlds better.

I hear Annihilators sucks... so Im not looking forward to it after the Thanos Imperative.

And BTW The One and Only. If you actually REAL GotG 24, Phyla-Vell aka Martyr IS the Avatar of Death, but she was used to release Thanos. It was said like 4x in that issue alone that she IS the Avatar of Death.

I kinda hated the marvel zombie comics. It's like the heroes forgot they had powers.

So since DC has been sucking SUPER hard lately (Green Lantern books are just mere shadows of what they were), Ive been looking back at old Marvel and DC titles..

Just finished Marvel Realm of Kings so Thanos Imperative and Annihilators are next but Im going back to Runaways now, wanting to see what I missed (not much as I stopped reading it during Secret Invasion). And of course there's X-Men, so I gotta track down X-Sanction #1-3. Getting some serious interest in Demogoblin, Ghost Rider and Cloak and Dagger.

With DC Im just looking into 52, Countdown and Final Crisis, along with the old Kirby stuff like Omac and New Gods.

I'm excited for what's coming up in Thunderbolts.
Jeff Parker's work on Agents of Atlas, (Red) Hulk, and Thunderbolts are MUST-READS, in my opinion.

Spider-Man has been plain awful. The most recent issue was good, but I'm talking about the character. He's my favorite character in all of media, but they are constantly ruining him in his series. Gone were the days when he was respected by everyone else. Venom has been one of my favorite ongoing series, really good stuff there.
Making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.

Yeah, Rick Remender's Venom is awesome. I've been buying it monthly.
Plus, the artist, Lan Medina, is Filipino! Way to go, man!

I have to say the storyline Marvel have been doing for symbiote related arcs and characters is pretty good, better then that Venom the anti-hero series they pulled a long time ago.

BTW what happended to Carnage? because seems his been dusted off again

I'm debating dumping Marvel due to the constant retcons. Is Venom worth reading? I'm only reading Secret Warriors and Moon Knight at the moment.

I'll second Venom. The upcoming Circle of Four arc looks like it going to be a fun ride.

A question to FANTASTIC FOUR/FUTURE FOUNDATION readers/fans. I see that Black Bolt survived the end of War of Kings, with his return. I have to ask is he and the Inhumans still running the Kree Empire in the current FF arc ? I rather enjoyed seeing the Inhuman Royal Family taking a more proactive stance from an isolationist race to an intergalactic superpower. I'd be bummed to see them go back to be in hiding again.
